Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens, Medium Point, Black, 12 Count - 1951719

I love these pens. I use them for drawing, sometimes writing. The ink dries super quickly so I don't smear my work which is more important in drawing than writing because I often drag my hand across my lines. The pen bleeds when held against paper which is useful for dotting and detailing. It even causes nice line-weight variation.One issue with these pens is that they don't last too long. You can visibly see the ink going down in the well day by day. If you use these pens to write school notes, they will only last about three weeks. They last for about two sketchbooks for me.It'd be nice if they made these pens refillable (they cannot even be taken apart), because their bodywork is nice and it'd be better to not have to spend roughly $1.5 per pen.Despite their poor longevity, these pens are amazing and are the only tool I use in my main sketchbooks now.

I am obsessed with these pens. I love gel pens, but it's honestly hard to find some that are affordable, long lasting, and won't get all over your fingers. These meet all of those requirements and then some. I cant even explain how beautiful they write. They are freaking amazing! Buy them!

These are the best pens out there. As a nurse, I am all about a good one. This one doesn’t smear, it writes so smooth, and it doesn’t bleed. Love it! 🙌🏻

I love those pens..but while rushed to the hospital...item was stolen.

By far my favorite pens to use at work and around the house. Cons: smears if writing on lab labels. But magically it makes my handwriting nicer.

These pens are great especially for left handed individuals. No more smudges down my hand and they dry fast just as advertised. Will be switching to this brand as my permanent choice.

These are my go to pen. I was extremely disappointed with the batch that I received. I’ve never had any issues in the past with these pens, but for some reason the batch that I received, only about half of the pens actually functioned properly. I just sat a final exam for Uni at home because of COVID and I went through 5 pens as the ink in 4 of the pens would just come out in blotches and would stop working. I put it down to receiving a bad batch. I have since, ordered a second batch and am curious to see if there’s any issues with the new ones. Other than that, these pens (when there’s no issues) are definitely my favorite pen to use. I would’ve given a 5 star rating but the bad batch that I received warranted only a 3 star rating.

These are my all-time favourite pens! They write smoothly, feel great in the hand, and have great colour payoff. I've got almost all of the colours of these pens, and they are all fantastic, not just the black ones. It's nice to be able to buy the black ones in bulk for school and work!I docked a star for this reason: when I tried to buy these, I was initially trying to buy the 0.5 size in the 12 pack box. I was informed that it could not be shipped anywhere near me. I tried the other number options for 0.5 and was given the same response. The only ones I was able to purchase were the 0.7. This item is not available on Amazon.com, and I live in a very large Canadian city. I was not able to find a good reason that the 0.5s could not be shipped to me, so I assume that they were not available, even though they were an option for purchase.

Very nice pen. Everybody at work loves it. Just tey not to drop it on the ground, it might stop working like any other gel pens

aside from a longer than anticipated delivery time this item is great. It is better than I had assumed it would be, these are great pens.
