One package per can worked perfect and sounds nice
I bought two packages of these to repack twin Sato exhausts for a CBR 900 Hornet. One package per can worked perfect and sounds nice.

Didn’t last long. Plugged spark arrestor.
It seemed nice at first, sound was good. I Installed It the same as other packing as far as density into a spotless clean DG slipon. Rode approx 800 miles over a few months on a brand new top end rebuild. Pulled exhaust due to bike running rich / burning oil. Opened up and packing was completely gone except about as much quantity as a steel wool pad. Not sure exactly where it went, but i believe it mostly plugged the spark arrestor causing the bike to run extremely rich which washed out a new set of rings that never seated. Not sure if the packing plugged the spark arrestor causing the ring washout, or the rings never seated and the oil / rich condition caused the packing to deteriorate quickly and plug the spark arrestor which in turn compounded the problem.

Good if it doesn't clog your spark arrestor.
I used this to pack an FMF Powercore 4. It does have extremely high heat tolerance as others have mentioned. It also does a great job with sound absorption, keeping the exhaust sounding good and agressive but not obnoxious. However, I won't be using it next time due to the tiny fiber fragments that make it to the spark arrestor screen and clog it about every 40 miles. I just cleaned it for the 5th time and I am going to replace the packing with regular FMF fiberglass packing.

Did the job
Excellent product. I had to wrap 12" baffles and there is enough material to do the job at least twice, but I can only fit a single layer so your mileage may vary. Seems to be high quality and the tone is excellent on my bike. I found a video on YouTube of an older gentleman repacking HD mufflers and the advice he received from one well known exhaust company was to use a few strips of masking tape to hold your wrap, then encase the whole thing in a tight layer of masking tape. The company he spoke with said it would help the packing last longer, which would be nice, but for my application I would not have been able to squeeze the wrapped baffle into the tube without the peeling/slicing/shredding the outer layer of packing off so I recommend it as well.
