I absolutely LOVE this book! It was the first book I bought to learn how to crochet and now am officially addicted to making amigurumi. Bought a 2nd copy for my niece recently, who wanted to learn. The step by step pictures and instructions is ideal for any beginner and the patterns are super cute for all levels. The only negative is that the book isn't bound well at all. It will start falling apart pretty quickly even with gentle use. I still give this book 5 stars because of it's instructional simplicity, clear pictures and easy to follow directions that literally got me "hooked." I'll just tape the book as it continues to fall apart. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn on their own.

Muy lindo libro lleno de fotografías para explicar pasos y tips. Al inicio explica los nudos básicos (si es que se es absolutamente principiante) con montón de fotos de buen tamaño. Los patrones son bastante sencillos, eventualmente se siente repetitivo, pero no es nada malo, así es el mundo amigurumi. El libro como objeto está bastante bien hecho. Me gusta que por el tipo de costura abre y se queda casi plano, así que no hay que estarse peleando para mantenerlo abierto en lo que sigues el patrón. Al tener muchas hojas impresas con grandes plastas de color, estas se pegan por la gran cantidad de tinta y también huele mucho a la misma. Podría ser algo que a mi no me hubiera importado pero al estar embarazada y tener un olfato tan sensible en estos momentos fue lo único que me llamó la atención. Una vez más, es algo trivial pero igual si son de olfato sensible solo déjenlo airear un poco porque no le quita lo divino al libro. Ya hice un montón de figuras y regalado muchas porque las ven y les encanta. Extra: Yo utilizaría una hilaza más gruesa que la Abuelita para agrandar el tamaño de las piezas.

O livro é fantástico, mesmo estando em inglês a autora dá dicas através das cores, as fotos, não tem gráficos ,contém muitas fotos. Achei interessante a forma da autora em ensinar com facilidade a exercursao das peças. Recomendo por ser prático, inovador e fácil. Obrigado Amazon.

Such a fantastic book of easy to follow and adorable Amigurumi. My daughters have a play kitchen and wanted some things I couldn’t find in the shops and this book has provided this now. The sizes are perfect for food items for kids to play with and so easy to follow no matter what stage you are in your crocheting journey. I’m so glad I bought this wonderful book. My kids love the items I’ve made so far.
