Do I have to have a humbucker guitar to use this or can I use this with a sigle coil guitar too?

The EBow works with any type of guitar- electric or acoustic, single coil or humbuckers. It used electro-magnetic pulses to make the strings produce sound, so as long as your strings are metallic, it makes no difference what type of pick ups you use.

How is Ebow Plus different than regular Ebow?

The new E-Bow Plus has two modes. The regular mode and a new one that creates upper harmonic overtones.

New ebow, i use labella strings, they are steel wound with a teflon coat. why won't it do anything at all?

I suspect the Teflon coating is what they call a dielectric material which is not energized by the light impulse. Electrons are not flowing thru coating prevents string from starting oscillation. Change string type to all steel

When I put my ebow over my guitar string, no sound is coming! Am I missing something else? I have an electric guitar. Any ideas?

I tried mine on several guitars and basses....could not get sounds from any....maybe mine is broken. The website is useless, can not ask or contact them.
