Clear Stand-Up Mini Bag

I’ve been using these for years. They keep food well sealed and fresh whether in a cabinet, the fridge or a freezer. Never had one fail in years. They clean easily enough by hand or in the dishwasher. But like most things that aren’t glass or metal, they don’t dry well in the dishwasher. A swipe with a towel, and a few more minutes left open to be sure they’re completely dried, are required to keep them fresh and ready to use. Better than plastic, easy to reheat right in the Stasher, and less room to store. I’m certain to purchase more.

In the past I've often reused takeout containers to store food in the fridge, but that has the potential to leach plastic into my leftovers, and plastic can be hard to clean as well: it holds onto grease, for instance. So while I find the Stasher bags to be pricey, the silicone is safer to use, I believe, and feels very durable. I also like the triangular shape of this particular one, which allowed me to put a bouquet of parsley inside a little jelly jar of water into the Stasher bag, seal it, and park it on the refrigerator shelf with little danger of spillage or evaporation. I think it'll work to use the sous vide setting to cook salmon in my InstantPot as well. I'm happy with my purchase!

I am using these bags for nuts I store in the freezer. I bought them because I wanted to avoid plastic. They are very sturdy, easy to open and close and hold a lot with the wide bottom. I wish Amazon had done a better job of packaging. The 3 bags came in a medium cardboard box with plastic pillows when they would have fit in a medium-sized envelope.

These are really exactly as advertised! Dishwasher gets them clean!

I don't get why these are so high in price, but I do like the product. They stack nicely in the freezer and seal very well. I docked them one star because the seals are challenging to open - frustrating when trying to access an ingredient during meal prep (have to stop progress, cajole the seal, set your jaw just right, groan out loud and finally pry it open). The good news - resealing it is a cinch!

These are my go-to now! For camping: oatmeal - just add boiling water, freezing - no brittle, breakable plastic, for storage - waterproof, easy to clean, no leaks. I keep buying them 1-2 at a time since they are expensive, but will not have to buy plastic, short-lived ziplock bags again!

These are a bit expensive, but are wonderful. Seal carefully and take care of them and they will last and last.

This has been such a great snack and toiletries bag when traveling! It is easy to clean, it has never leaked and I can see the contents right away through one of the sides, and the other side is opaque enough that you can’t tell what is inside, and I have the clear stashed.
