The four person says its 8 x 10 but then says the screen room is 8x3 - does that mean the sleeping room is 8x7? or does it take up 8x13 altogether?

The screen room is separate and does not add to sleeping space so 8 x 7

Did anyone know what size footprint to use or what did you buy to protect the floor? I’m thinking the four or six person versions. Thank you

It has a very heavy duty and thick floor. I won't be worrying to carry a footprint.

is the back of this tent screened like other Coleman tents?

Yes it has screen all around, but covered by the rain cover. In the front also has a zipped cover which closes from the inside. Great space, it fits 3 Twin inflatable beds

Does the 4 man coleman with screen room have stakes included? or do i haveto purchase separately and if so how many? thanks!

it comes with small metal stakes, I believe there are about 12 of them included for each corner, the screened area, and all the tie downs.
