AnzoUSA 311004 for 4th Gen Chevy 1988-98 C/K / GMT400 body.
I just bought these for a 1991 C1500 Extended Cab that I have owned since 1992. From what I gathered from other reviews the following interested me, of course these are LED's, the other was the backup lens being larger for improved backup lighting! I wanted to know is if these used a wedge socket type bulb for the back up lamp or a standard round socket using the 3156 bulb? Answer: wedge type!My original tail lens were cracked and dull and in the past I had issues with the circuit board where the bulbs plug in.Looking forward to being able to see better when backing up. These look like a nice upgrade and yet still keeping with the original look or close to original style.Update: 12/6/14. Amazon shipping as always very good.I installed with little effort. Noted that the modules had been installed with double sided tape. Mine were not attched to the lens but were okay and easily reattched.I like the look and I think these make the backend of the truck look a bit more modern without going overboard! The running lights are about the same brightness, but the brake and turn signal operation will not go unnoticed... they are bright! As someone mention before about signs being lit up at 1/4 mile back is no joke if not more! love it!Confirmed the type of socket used for the back up light, using a 3156 wedge type socket. The ANZO assy sold here have a large reverse/backup lens and are a huge improvement in this area with 2 times the size of OEM lenes. I may still install high output LED's lamps but for now though I can actually see that the reverse/backup lamps are actully on!At the moment I would recommend these.Update: 04/20/15.I have now had these lens about 5+ months and I'm still very happy with them, so much that I have gotten the same set for another 1991 C2500 that my dad has. Yup, we drive them/repair them and drive them, not willing to move on to another one yet!I have decided to upgrade the backup bulbs to LEDs soon after I got them and now even more backup light now even with tented windows I can use the reverse light as a backup lamp unlike before where they were more of a warning lamp for others, they now have a use for me as the driver. I would recommend paying the 24 or so more for a good set of LEDs for the reverse lamps, especially if you happen to backup during the night and the parking lot is tight and backing up is the only option in some many cases. So I still recommend these at this point!Update: 10/25/16.Now going on two years and still looking and working great on both trucks.

Fantastic upgrade
Bought these to replace my aging tail lights on my 98 K2500 Suburban. Finish was excelent on outside and have a factory appearance, interior seemed to be a little cheaper than factory. The fit is a little difficult, the housing itself fits fine in the opening but i can only get one of the two mounting screws in, then i have to apply way too much pressure to the other just to get the hole lined up. Gunna take them back out and relieve some of the weatherstripping with a dremel so they are not so tight and I think they will be fine. Function of the lights is amazing. When I first put them in, I took my wife out and we took turns standing behind the truck while the other went through the functions. Tails are much brighter than stock, brakes are like flamethrowers coming out of back that literally light up the area to the rear, turn signals provide a similar effect. I like this because my house is on a state highway going through town and people love to speed so I want them to see me slowing down and turning. Backup lights although a standard bulb instead of an LED is oversized and also lights up the area to give you a good view of whats behind. These lights will deffinately tell peoply behind you "Hey! Look What I am doing!" Hopefully they will last as long as the stock set as I plan on keeping this truck forever.

Most OEM looking LED lights
I had purchased a set of these from Summit Racing 8 or 9 years ago, some rows of LEDs went out. I purchased this new pair from amazon. Easy to install and look great. Lots of styles available. This set looks more OEM. That's why I chose these.

Highly recommended!!!
I bought these for my '98 GMC Suburban and I must say that I really love the look. They were very simple to install with instructions that for me I really didn't need but they were included. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that no where in the paperwork or in the product description was it recommended that I should change out my Flasher relay to correct the hyper flashing as if there was a bulb burned out. Plus the size of the transformer attached to the wiring is a bit bulky and kind of difficult to mount due to the size (really only one spot to place it). But overall construction of the lenses is top notch and the look is awesome. I highly recommend these lights!!!

1998 GMC Truck
I bought these LED taillights because I had bought the Spyder brand taillights and was disappointed in the fit of the Spyder brand. Both brands are made in Taiwan but these Anzo fit better and have eight more LED's than the Spyder brand. Anzo also offers another light (311057) for the same vehicle and I had to contact Anzo and ask them the difference. These 311004 have eight more LED's than the 311057 lights for just a few dollars more. Additionally, the Anzo lights come with reverse light bulbs installed where the Spyder had none and I to make a trip to the parts store to complete the first install. Overall I am happier with the Anzo lights over the Spyder lights but both could brush up on the fitment of the lights. Hope this helps someone, I was not able to find out much before I began the conversion to LED.

They do not fit flush
Due to the fact that these LED's have a resistor box attached to it, they do not fit flush like the original's and when I tried to install them the lens cracked at the top. The lights look very nice but this is an issue because they do not slide right in for a true fit and you have to really push on them to get them in enough to put the screws back in. It's a flawed design in my opinion and now that I am trying to return them I have to print a label and they charge me 6.99 to return them and it just so happens that my printer decided to take a crap on me so now I have 30 days to get this returned or I'm S.O.L. If you buy these be prepared, because they DO NOT just slide in like the original ones do because of that resister box. Oh yeah, it says free returns on the sale page, NOT True.

Great looking light and easy to install
Very easy to install and and are bright enough to be seen in the daylight. Only downside is that you do still have a light bulb for the reverse light

Great lights!
Super bright and easy to install. No issues with them whatsoever. Be warned that they have a resistor pack (big grey box) that has to be mounted with the double-sided tape included.

Not made in USA
I would of gave these tail lights 5 stars but they arrived in a old food box with no invoice inside and nothing indicating they are Anzo . They say nothing on them but made in Taiwan. I contacted the shipper and they indicated they are designed in the USA and assembled in Taiwan . That said they fit well and look good but as far as longevity goes we shall see how long they last.

Broke in a year
They look good and functioned good but it broke off out of no where. I didn't over tighten them and didn't hit anything but the housing broke after a year. Not impressed. Made in Thailand
