Amazon Brand - Solimo Pre and Post Shaving Oil, 75ml

This is the first shaving product I have found that doesn't have PEG in it, I was so happy finding out that they actually don't use any bad ingredients that I bought one straight away without reading the reviews, I'll update this review when I've tried it.

First impressions of this were good, it comes in a nice box and the bottle is a decent size with a pump lid. I’ve always used shaving foam on my legs so was keen to see how this would compare.I used about 3 pumps of oil for the first part of my leg (knee to ankle) that worked well and my razor glided over it with ease. However the hairs did get stuck in my razor blades a lot more noticeably and I had to keep banging it on the side of the bath or running my finger down it to get them out. I also had to do the same patch of leg a few times to get all the hairs as it seemed to miss some of them. By the end of my bath I would say it took twice as long to shave my legs and the water was a bit gross as had clumps of hair floating around whereas I don’t seem to notice it doing that with my shaving foam.Saying that, I still think this shaving oil is the way forward for me. I usually get sore legs after shaving and get a red rash on my thighs and bikini line but I didn’t with this which is unheard of for me! I also think it gave me a slightly closer shave so smoother legs afterwards. It says you can also use the oil after instead of moisturiser after which I really liked.Overall i’m really pleased with this and I’m going to stick to using it as the extra time spent is worth it for the comfort and look afterwards. With that in mind I’d recommend it!

It’s better value for money than the Veet one but it clogs the razor and the consistency is strange, you need to use way more than other brands.

I was happy with this product from Amazon vine review programme and I was interested in how it would perform.I cannot say that it’s any better than a normal shave foam or similar product so I wouldn’t spend the extra for this product .

Awesome stuff! Was worried it was only a tiny bottle but it lasts ages so I thinks it’s value for money

This was a total let down and not useful for shaving when it sits on top of skin and just clogs the razor badly; so I honestly don't get the rave reviews. I don't like to leave a poor review but I bought this based on the comments and then had to bin it after first use and buy something else.

I shaved one leg using this oil and the other leg just with water whilst in the bath. The oil made the razor glide over my skin more smoothly and once I was dried my right leg felt moisturised too. I used the same razor on both legs and the leg that I used the oil on had a closer shave.I used a moisturiser on both legs after my bath and two hours later the shin on my left leg (shaved with water) was drier than the shin on my right leg (shaved using the oil). So using this shaving oil moisturised my skin during and after shaving.It's a pump dispenser and didn't pump out much, you don't need a great deal but I needed three pumps. It's not a thick oil, it's a little on the runny side but that doesn't hinder the consistency or spreadability. The fragrance is fresh and floral, not overpowering though but it's lovely.I think this bottle will last a long time because you don't need to use lots. £9.59 (current price) is probably average for 75ml.

Ich hatte immer das Problem, dass ich keine 24 Std nach meiner Rasur an vielen Stellen sich hässliche Pickelchen bildeten und ich immer wieder schlimmen Juckreiz hatte. Selbstverständlich ist alles nicht beim ersten Anwenden verschwunden, jedoch bei regelmäßigen Nutzung, eindeutige Verbesserungen zu sehen. Meine Pickelchen sind minimiert und dieser nervige Juckreiz kaum noch vorhanden.

So bene che ogni pelle ha le sue caratteristiche e quindi queste considerazioni sono effetto delle mie personali preferenze. Come trattamento pre-shave ho provato ad usare creme e gel ma in conclusione preferisco gli oli e questo, tra quelli che ho provato, a me piace davvero molto per il profumo leggero e per l'effetto sulla pelle. Io lo uso sul viso bagnato prima di insaponarlo e l'effetto durante e dopo la rasatura è davvero più che ottimo.

Odeur légèrement sucrée, huile pas trop grasse. Fait bien le boulot. Pour le prix en plus, c'est top ! Je recommande !

Mi piace il fatto che sia un prodotto di buona qualità a un prezzo basso rispetto alla media. Magari un profumo meno dolce e neutro a qualcuno potrebbe fare più piacere essendo un prodotto per la rasatura.
