The first bag my dog seemed to enjoy. One before bedtime each day. The new package she turns her nose up. I’m not sure if it’s a different formulation or what. I keep trying.

Our dog loves these. We have been using these dental chews for all of our dogs in the past. They help clean their teeth. We also use the powder version form the same company. This new darker packaging replaces the old light package. Update - we have ordered and received these several times with no problems until today. I came home to find an unsealed amazon bag with no product inside. Why would a package be dropped off that is clearly open with nothing inside? Fortunately I was able to get a refund immediately after contacting customer service. Now to try ordering it again....

My veterinarian gave me a list of lower-calorie and healthier tooth care options after I admitted I'd been using Greenies. I tried a more expensive option first, because VetriScience's packaging looked "clinical" rather than delicious. The other brand came individually wrapped -- the crinkling sound gets her every time. However, with VetriScience, she searches for me to receive her toothbrush treat when she's ready to go to sleep at night. It will take some time to see if there's any effect on her dental health, but I noticed right away the treats go through her system clean and fully digested. I reordered with a subscription. Highly recommend.

I have used many different dental chews over the years and these are by far the best choice. While they will not completely remove set in tartar, they do a great job of preventing build up. My dogs breath smells great too!
