Magpul MOE 1911 Grip Panels

I bought these to replace the very blah, bulky, smooth wooden stock grips on my Rock Island 45 1911. Installed in just a couple of minutes and these are a much better look and feel to the stock grips IMO. The thumb relief for the shooting hand (right hand) is nicely placed. Recommended if you don't care for your RIA 1911 stock grips.

Great upgrade, texture is great, the mag eject thumb clearance is awesome.

While I've used Magpul products before, this is the first set of 1911 MOE grips that I have tried. I like them and they are affordable. They fit perfect on my Colts, Kimber, RIA, and even my GSG which surprised me. They seem to be sturdy and well made. I really like the grip texture. It's somewhere between checkered wood and G10. Sort of a Goldilocks texture. Not too slippery and not too aggressive. Still getting used to the thumb scoop. It's a bit odd to me since I'm used to full GI type grips. Not bad, just different and I'll need to shoot with them a bit to get used to it. One observation is that I have medium hands and still have to shift my grip to reach the mag release with my right thumb so keep that in mind. The grips are ambi cut, but all of my guns run GI type safeties, left side only, so I can't comment on how well they fit for ambi-safeties. I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

The cutout for the mag release is awesome much easier and faster to mag changes,doesn't affect shooting grip as I use the safety for thumb support while firing.Fit is great, no sharp edges. If your looking for bling this is not it however if tough looking and functionalis what our looking for then this is it.

I'm not a big Magpul fanboy but these were cheap and looked interesting. A good purchase all over.If you're looking for a grip so sticky it'll make your hands bleed then try VZ Recon grips (which I do love). These are a step up from checkered wood, but not extreme. They feel like ~1,000 grit sandpaper.Fit was good, they line up well on my Springfield Loaded Government. The right side panel is notched out for an ambi safety to fit under. These are pretty thin grips, if that's what you're looking for. The relief cut on the left side does make it easier to reach the magazine release. I could take it or leave it, but it works as advertised.The package does NOT include grip screws. Just a left and right grip panel in the box with instructions (yeah...instructions), nothing else. Bottom line is they're nice grips at a great price.

upgraded the rubber grips on my Kimber ,fully satisfied with these. Feel really nice and they look good too. 100% recommend

These are great! They are ultra thin but have an awesome grippy texture to them
