Great book with invaluable information, and in this climate this information may be needed more than you know. The book is huge and heavy. The only let down is the very poor quality paper it is printed on, it is obviously a re print and for the price it would have had 5 stars if the quality had been better. For content this book is a must.

Bigger than I expected. Loads of information and advice and much easier to follow than googling on the internet. Fab if you're interested in living more within your environment and trying to be sustainable.

Great book, lots of really useful and interesting information.

Encyclopedia is right! Everyone should own this book. It is a how-to guide on how to do absolutely everything from gardening, to building. It’s so well laid out and easy to understand. The amount of knowledge in this book is priceless.

It's a decent book jammed with everything. BUT, there's ALOT of anecdotal referencing and gibberish in here. It's a fun book to go through, but do further research especially on things like canning, butchering or anything that can affect your health and safety.
