Q: Are these rigid enough and flat enough to mail comic books or photographs?

I would not use them for that. These sheets were not as rigid as I thought they would be. They are fine for crafts but to protect items I would still use corrugated cardboard boxes cut to size.

Q: Does it dissolve in water?

It's glossy so can repel some water, but ultimately it is cardboard so if it's soaked in water, will soften and likely dissolve eventually.

Q: Do these come in the kraft color?

I found 12x12 corrugated Kraft paper color under a different item.
