I constantly replace pinking shears when they dull, and start to tear/hack at fabric. So far, so good - crisp, clean cut on a variety of fabrics. Easy on the hands. As a senior, my hands tire easily when sewing. I shall see how they hold up to long term use...

Amazing quality !

The pinking shears are great. The stars reflect my ability to use it if you have arthritis or you don’t have strength in your fingers ir hand, this is a bit difficult. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with the above disabilities but minus disabilities, these are a great pair of pinking shears.

This tag was cut out with the shears. It actually acheived a better look than I imaged. This product was easy to handle and use. Shipping was quick, perfect timing.

Well made scalloped shears. I have strong feelings about these shears both pro and con, so here goes -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Pro's1) Very soft rubber non-slip grip.2) I can see the scallop on the blades at the beginning and it goes all the way out the the very end. This allows me to connect a series of scallops without a break.3) Cuts very easily.4) Well made. They look like they will last a lifetime.5) Came in a nice gift box.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Con's1) As I recall, the manufacturer claims that these scalloped shears can be used by both left-handed and right-handed people. That is not true, at least not for me. These scalloped shears are not comfortable in my left hand. (I am left-handed).2) The scallop on the blades is not reversible so when I attempt to use my left hand, I feel a strong urge to cut out a circle clockwise. This causes the scallop to be inverted (upside down). In order to have the scallop come out correctly while using the shears in my left hand, I have to cut counter-clockwise which feels very awkward. In order for me to cut out a nice scalloped circle, I have to use my right hand and cut counter-clockwise. That will work but requires a lot of effort. I wish I could get a pair made for left-handers.3) The size of the scallop is small, about 5 scallops per inch. I don't think there is another model with larger scallops.4) These scalloped shears are HEAVY!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------All in all, I do like these shears and would purchase them again.

Quality

These Scalloped Pinking Shears are a nice size, color and cut really well. I had a tough time picking the set if pinker's I wanted. These were well lubricated and cut so easily. The color is really pretty too. I do like the scalloped edge, just slightly different than the alligator teeth cut edge. Nicer cut. Will get much use I'm sure.

UPDATE! I held onto these a few more days before returning and they do seem to be getting better! And this is after I went to physical therapy and was a little sore in the wrists. First review: I read numerous reviews before purchasing and when I received the scissors I immediately noticed the difficulty in opening them. There were no instructions to oil them and honestly, you shouldn’t have to oil scissors but you can see that there are ball bearings and so it would make sense. Fortunately, other customers mentioned this but after using WD40 and cutting a yard of fabric the scissors actually became more difficult! There is no way scissors should be this difficult. I can buy ones at the dollar store that work better!! As someone who is extremely cautious about my wrists and hands as I run my own floral design and wreath business, I strongly recommend never using these if you have even the slightest issue.

Best pinking shears! Sharp and aesthetically nice looking. I like it’s scallop style, very neat when applied to fabric. The first thing I did when I received it was to put a drop or two of sewing machine oil near the screw at the center. I’m glad I chose these pinking shears!

These scissors cut beautifully and have a lovely solid and quality feel about them. Nice to hold and use. I am really happy.

Die P.LOTOR Stoffschere ist großartig. Diese robuste Schere schneidet zuverlässig alle Stoffe mit einer sauberen schönen Schnittkante, auch anspruchsvollere Dinge wie z.B. Leder, Kunstleder, Jeans (auch die Nähte). Sie liegt gut in der Hand und schneidet wirklich bis in die Scherenspitze korrekt.Für Schneider- und Näharbeiten würde ich sie unbedingt empfehlen, da die Nähte danach nicht mehr ausfransen.Aber auch für andere Zwecke, wie z.B. das Zuschneiden von Tischdecken, Platzdeckchen u.dgl. ist sie hervorragend geeignet wegen ihrer Schneideeigenschaften und auch wegen der schönen Schnittkante, die sie herstellt. Es ist keine direkte Zick-Zack-Kante, sondern eine Wellenkante, die sehr attraktiv aussieht. Damit ist sie auch toll für Bastel- und Dekorationsarbeiten.Wir würden sie wieder kaufen, allerdings wird das bei der Robustheit der Schere wahrscheinlich nicht so bald wieder nötig sein.

These are really great, comfortable to hold and have nice clean finish on paper and card. Would buy another pair if necessary!

I expected the old fashioned cut of zigzag but the point is round. cuts nice, a bit stiff at first.
