Not suitable for outdoor conditions.
Attached a handful of these to my garden fence to hang up some string lights. Everything was perfect for a few days up until it rained and the sticky backs of ALL the command strips unstuck from the fence and fell to the ground almost smashing my glass string lights in the process. Nothing “outdoor” about these hooks. Do not recommend at all, at least not for the outdoors.

Perfect
These worked a treat to put my lights up in the garden. I stuck them to the concrete posts that sit inbetween the fence panels and they’ve stayed up all summer and continue to do so through all this wind

Meh?! Not as good as I was hoping…
After doing quite a bit of research I purchased two packs of these strips/hooks to put outdoor fairy lights up. These strips/hooks are not cheap and I did not want to make and expensive mistake. I was using the strips around a porch and on the raw wood fabric of my house under the wall tiles. You need to invest a bit of time and effort with Command strips to apply them properly: cleaning and drying the area, pressing them on for 30 seconds, spacing them correctly, leaving them for an hour before hanging anything from them, so I was counting on a good result.A couple of the strips just did not adhere as soon as I stuck them to the wood which was annoying. Another two came away after the hour’s wait. I didn’t have much faith in them holding my Christmas lights on at all.I dug around in my tool box and found about 8 screw in hooks which I used straight away in between the 18 (-4 which didn’t adhere) Command strips I had installed. That took me about 20 minutes and I kind of wished I had done that from the start.I have left the Command strips that did adhere properly in place and used them with the screw in hooks around the walls on my house. I am hoping the ones on the porch remain in place as these are in an area where I really do want damage-free hooks situated but I’m not particularly hopeful. If they stay the course I will update this review accordingly. Today (12/12/2021) is day one of them being in place…

Super!
Was a little sceptical after reading some reviews, but decided to try and glad I did, it's held up for a few months now holding my lanterns, rain, sun and hail and they are still attached to the wall.Really impressed!

Very sticky in sub zero temperature BUT...
Purchased for some outdoor fairy lights, easy to install but a bit bulky, however as they're transparent not too bad..When it came to taking the lights back down, unlike the indoor variety (not very sticky - dumped in the bin) these are like limpets. Pulling the removal tag one stretched alarmingly then snapped leaving the hook proudly still in place - took a chisel to remove. The next one came away fairly easily - bringing a lump of paint and plaster twice its' own size with it. This was a recently decorated area (circa 3 months back) and after taking down six of these hooks we were faced with 5 repairs. The only one that didn't tear the fabric of the house off was the one that failed - I used a chisel to that and didn't mark the house.Dumped the rest now - EPIC FAIL - these do not work as advertised
