Best doggo frisbee
Although not completely indestructible, it is very resilient and lasts for months of daily use.

It’s not tough at all!
Our dog is a tough chewer. I was very hesitant to even use this toy with our dog, however we have the black tough Kong, which has served us well. We gave it a try and the second time our dog had it, he tore it up. Don’t waste your money if your dog is truly a tough chewer! The rubber is very thin. Maybe if it were thicker it would be more durable.

So far so good
I originally bought the red one and after about a year my dog who's a very heavy chewer destroyed it. This black one is supposed to be the heavy duty one. It feels flimsy, but It's been about 6 months and so far so good. Fly's great and easy for him to catch.

Pure garbage for what it's supposed to be designed for.
I have purchased quite a few of the Red Kong flyers for my Goldador over the years and she absolutely loves them. However, she can destroy them relatively quickly so I bought these "Extreme Fliers!" thinking that they would be more durable. First of all, let me say that I can hardly believe the ones I received were manufactured by Kong. The red ones I buy from the pet store are of far better quality than these. If Kong did manufacture these, I say shame on them for making such a poor-quality product. They are super flimsy and light weight and hardly "fly" at all. I wish I knew for sure who actually made these because I hate to put blame where it doesn't belong. All I can say is, "buyer beware!". As an end to this rant, I will never purchase these items anywhere other than a physical store again so I can be assured of what I'm getting.

was even shorter-lived than the regular red kong flyer!!!!
I got this for my 70 lbs lab mix. He is a rowdy guy, and frisbees are his favorite toy in the whole world. He can put teeth marks in regular frisbees with one bite, and has pieces taken out of them in no time. We tried the red kong frisbee, which actually lasted for a few play sessions at the dog park (he doesn't get to play with the frisbee in the house, or else it'd be dead before we'd even get to throw it around). He really loved to step on one end, and pull on the other end with his mouth. Needless to say, eventually it started splitting and was on its way to the trash slowly from there. Now, just on opening this flyer I was really taken aback. It feels much more flimsy than the regular red flyer (in fact, it is folded in half in the packaging). I wanted to try it out before reviewing. I've tried it, and it has been torn apart even faster than the red one.The longest lasting frisbee so far has been this previous fire hose triangle flyer, but I haven't found that online (was in a pet supply store). This was not really very strong, and I was disappointed since the traditional kong extreme treat-stuffer has lasted a long time. Oh well. I don't really recommend it if you have a strong dog. If you don't have a frisbee-destroying pup, I still recommend the red flyer, which is a few bucks cheaper usually.UPDATE: I've found a frisbee that lasts! The Jawz hyperflite is a great, durable frisbee. Only downside: doesn't float (we lost the first one so far to Lake Washington, rather than my dog's over-exuberant playfulness... lasted for months though!)

Stick with the more hardy (yes) Red Small Flyer, Puppy Flyer or upgrade to the Zisc by Westpaw design
Sadly, this is not that good. It is too floppy and thin so like the Kong Bone, THE RED IS ACTUALLY TOUGHER FOR STRONG JAW DOGS.I think kong worked out the black rubber was not as good, even the new tug-toy is full red kong rubber instead of silly hard red plastic and black ends.I stopped buying kong flyers about 2 or 3 years ago when I discovered Zisc by westpaw design. The Red Kong Flyers and the puppy models are all better than the Black so-called extreme, but the smaller red ones better than the large. I even found the blue or white puppy flyers even tougher and more durable than the extreme Black.....but none of the float and my dog always rips them with his scissor bite eventually.BUT, if you want the best overall flyer/frisbee!!2 years ago I discovered the Zisc by West Paw Design (I have only ever bought the glow version) and they fly the best, can go in your pocket, they float and best of all, they are tougher than any other that I've tested so that's all I buy. They give another free if your dog tears them but I've only ever lost them if my boy leaves them on the bus by mistake or if he loses them in surf or the river.I can't find a pic of the Black flyer, but it sucked compared to the small red. It is really thin like some old Red Large models were.......but those really old large red floppy ones actually took more punishment. I can't say this is bad value though as all kong stuff is still far better than most other flyers but it really sucks they don't float. I actually just use my boys Kong in summer when I want him to dive so it does have it's place but I lost so many in rivers and seas over the years

Hi there, fellow dogs and dog parents! I just have to bark about this amazing rubber frisbee my human got me! It's the best toy EVER!First of all, it's so fun to chew on. The rubber is super tough, but still nice and squishy on my teeth. I’ve tried to give it a good gnaw many times, but it’s still in one piece! My human says that means it’s "durable." Whatever that means, I just know it’s awesome! And oh boy, does this thing fly! My human can throw it really far, and I love chasing after it at the park. It soars through the air like a bird, and I run as fast as I can to catch it. Sometimes I even do a cool jump and grab it mid-air! The bright color makes it easy to find, even when it lands in the grass or bushes.
