Port Products Conditioning Beard Absolute

I've been using this for about five years now. It does a great job adding moisture to my beard, especially during the winter months. There is a slight almost citrus scent, that I find pleasing.

I absolutely love this stuff, bought it for my boyfriend's birthday. Bc he has very sensitive skin I did a heaping amount of research on many different beard products and this one was it for me being a first time beard-care buyer. It's smell is not overbearing whatsoever! I love the fact that it conditions his skin and so does he. By the looks of it, it seems like it will last a good amount of time for the price. It does have a bit of an oily residue, but it's natural smelling and it doesn't bother me because he needs all the conditioning for his skin that he can get! Great Buy for the price!

Currently my second favorite beard oil. The only thing that I didn't like was that it is unscented, and i like a mild scent to my beard oils. Texture is great, doesn't feel oily, and moisturizers adequately. My current favorite is from Art of Shaving.

I've been using this oil for a few years now. So, I figured it time to leave a review. This is, hands down, not only my favorite beard oil, but my favorite beard product. I have tried dozens of oils over the years. I even tried making my own for awhile, but couldn't get close to the benefits of Port Products. It has a subtle scent that I get compliments for. I occasionally treat it like a carrier and add my own essential oils to it to get the scent I'm looking for. It doesn't go rancid and leave your beard smelling bad once the essentail smells wear off. It doesn't have the preservatives that other oils do that irritate my nose. Its got a great consistancy that makes it easy to apply, but doesn't rub off and make my pillow greasy after a week, like i've found with other oils.

I did a lot of research on different brands and recommendations before choosing this oil from the top of someone's list for price and effectiveness. I've been using it for over a month and I've been very pleased with my choice. Depending on the length of my beard I use 3-5 drops worked in, and the oil is absorbed right away. When you're applying you get a whiff of a faint sandalwood but it fades quickly, so it's certainly not overpowering. It does it's job well, and it's been very helpful in fighting off Flakey Beard and Flakey Eyebrow in dry NY winters.

The product itself is great but I was planning on giving this as a gift and the box it comes in is absolutely trashed

I was previously using Honest Amish beard balm, but I wanted to try a beard oil because I felt like the balm was not enough to tame my wiry beard. I've gone through about half of my bottle of this beard oil and have not noticed any improvement. Of note, at first I used the oil on my wet beard, as that is how I was using the previous beard balm (per instructions). I later realized I was supposed to apply the oil on a dry beard. In both use cases, the beard oil did not make my beard feel noticeably softer, nor did it do much to rein in stragglers. I will go back to using the beard balm. The oil smells nicer and is more convenient to use. In addition, it does not leave my hands feeling as oily as beard balm does when I run my hand over my beard. It just isn't producing the results I need, though. If you have a thick beard, I would try a different product first.

Best beard oil I have used hands down. And it happens to be the least expensive. I saw it featured in an article for a high profile online magazine, where they tested and rated the best beard oils and this came in first. That’s why I decided to give it a go. It’s got a medium shine to it and very mild scent if any but smells good.
