Reliable and looks great
What can you say? They do their job and do it well.I have an Asus Maximus Hero XI so I have a motherboard that lights up via the bundled Asus Aura software. My Corsair RAM and AIO H115i Pro XT cooler use the Corsair iCUE software which has an Asus add-on to link with the motherboard, which it appears to do successfully. I only use the LEDs to indicate the temperature of the components (chip, RAM, memory and the GPU via the motherboard colour) although you can set it to be more interesting in the colour animations.I bought this 32GB kit to add to the 16GB kit I already had installed so I had all 4 slots populated. The effects are even better but used ICue to show the Dominator colour for temperature and used the other square LEDs for something more interesting.I then built my son an AMD 5900X based build in January and whilst I managed to obtain the chip, Corsair cooler and Asus X570-E Motherboard, I found real problems sourcing AMD 5000 series compatible RAM from their AMD approved list. Was looking for 3600MHz RAM but there are not many Corsair kits on the approved list with RGB at the moment. 3600MHz RAM was running out everywhere and prices were going stupid so I pulled this 32GB 3200MHz kit out of my Maximus Hero Xi and used it in the AMD build and BOOM, job done. Installed Windows 10 Pro and there hasn't been any issues with this kit set to XMP profile at 3200MHz on the Asus X570-E with a Ryzen 9 5900X, so I'm not sure what all the worry was about all over the net. Granted I'm not overclocking the chip or RAM but it has been stable continuously and it is not even the 'Ryzen Optimised' version.I've always used Corsair in my builds for over 20 years (AMD and Intel) and never had any problems. Plus it looks great in a windowed case.

Stability & performance
I have used the 16gb sticks of this ram brand for nearly 5 years, no issues. Now I decided to upgrade to 64gb as some of the new games are so ram hungry e.g (cyberpunk 2077).Thid ram supports xmp profiles in the bios, for over clocking for extra performance.

Outstanding RAM!!!
The media could not be loaded. I simply love this RAM, it is beautiful, sleek, stylish and the amount of RGB options you get to play with in the iCue app is amazing, I spent several hours just creating different patterns and colour mixes. It is a little bit heavier than previously used Corsair RAM, but don't let that put you off, it just means they're well built. The white ones fit perfectly in my monochrome build of black & white.I have seen previous reviews by clueless people who state the RAM doesn't run at the 3200mhz speed it says it does. News flash silly people, it does, you just have to go into your Bios and change it from its minimum setting of 2133mhz to the preferred 3200mhz, it is as simple as clicking a button from 'off' to 'on'. They put it on this because not all motherboards can handle the top setting, think of it as a starting point and all you have to do is turn it up. So please don't listen to those people who have no idea what they're talking about. This RAM is truly superb!!!

Amazing colours, even better speed 3600mhz
This Dominator Platinum RGB by Corsair is simply stunning. Aesthetically probably the best on the market. So I had the delivered opened the packaging which is excellent, removed my old Corsair vengeance Ram, and installed these beauties. Powered on the pc, went straight into the Bios to turn on the D.O.C.P ASUS term for XMP. It changed the base frequency instantly from 3000mhz to its rated 3600 MHz, saved the settings and the computer reset with the rated speed working as advertised. The whole process was quicker than making a cup of coffee.I really think Corsair have made an outstanding product with the Dominator platinum RGB, the out of the box light show is Rainbow multi Colour wave, but I’ve not had chance to play around with the Icue software as yet, but I’m not expecting any problems as I already have Corsairs H115i pro AIO and the Icue software runs that perfectly. If I had to pressed to find something I don’t like about the Ram, that is the very very slight flaw that the Dominator name runs from bottom to top, and would preferred to read it top to bottom. That’s it really, this Ram is an amazing piece of kit that would look great I’m almost any build.

Subtle but stunning
Worked perfectly out of the box and was super easy to install. The LEDs are bright and the colours match up to the Asus Maximus XII Extreme quite nicely. Expected good quality from Corsair and they've delivered on it as expected.(Edit - after 2 months of use - original review above)- The DIMMs arrived are ver 8.31, Nanya B-Die- Stock: 3600MHz, 1.35v, C18- Overclock: 3866MHz, 1.37v, C17, dropped tRFC and adjusted other timings.Could probably increase the frequency if using two DIMMs but happy enough with the 4 DIMMs reaching these speeds. Probably helps to have the optimem feature on the Maximus 12 Extreme.

Best looking RGB RAM kit out there
Only gripe I have is the height of the sticks. You’ll need to ensure your CPU can clear it.The iCue software includes a plethora of customisable options. Best thing is you don’t have to keep it installed. The “hardware lighting” section allows to save your preset to the onboard memory of the ram or any Corsair device for that matter. You also don’t get any rainbow puke when booting which is huge plus in my book.I was able to set it to advertised 3600 clock speed via the BIOS without an issue.

RGB for those that hate RGB
I'm not a fan of RGB. I had planned on building my PC without any lighting but discovered that the illuminated logo on my GPU cannot be turned off. So I decided to embrace subtle lighting. Corsair iCue is reasonably decent and allows a variety of static lighting options. I decided to mirror the green GPU lighting on all other text and have white for the rest - I really like it. The lighting options on the DIMMs is actually very impressive - it actually looks great rain bowing through the spectrum but that's not what I wanted. I think it looks pretty good even static. It is really bright but dimmable through iCue - I have mine at 10% and that is plenty bright enough. Oh, and as RAM it works perfectly - I haven't tried manually OC but XMP profile works perfectly.

Badass Ram!!
Awesome! Runs fast and stabile. Plus looks badass, what more can you ask for. I forgot to check if these are samsung B-dies. I'm sure they are considering how well they overclock. I got my timings good and tight. So far, best Ram I've owned. Is it worth the money? Prob not for most users. But if you want the best of the best and want to do some over clocking these are for you. If you plan on slapping these in you pc and setting xmp then find you some normal sticks in the specs you want and save your money. If you don't have a budget or plan on doing some OC'ing and tightening up timing, then get these. They are great.

Pretty expensive for just 16gb(2x8) but you can tell that it is high quality.
In my couple months of using it he is my pros and cons,Pros: Very stable even at about 4400mhz (which yes I know its meant to get up to 4800 but it will start losing stability about there), nice rgb, probably one of the best preforming ram for my system.Cons: Very expensive 16gb kit since you could get a 32gb(16x2) kit of the same company's(Corsair) vengeance pro rgb for I think about $10 more.In all my experience with the product it has run (mostly) flawlessly. The only time I even have any problems with it is sometimes when my system boots up the ICue rgb software give me an error saying that its not receiving data from my ram (even through task manager reads it perfectly fine) and the rgb stops working and just freezes to what it was at before which does look weird at times.

Great value, love the look, love corsair
I have this kit paired with a 16GB kit of vengeance rgb pro and they both have the same timings, speed etc. so I didn’t have to change much in my bios. I bought this kit to see which looks better as they perform the same and I definitely like the look of the dominators RGB compared to the vengeance pro. Will be buying another kit soon.

Form over function
This 3690 CL18 RAM (4x8) v3.31 (Micron E-die) gets about an average 3-5% higher frame rate than 2x16 older Corsair 3200 CL16 v4.31 (Samsung B-Die). I don’t expect to be able to overclock much due to the lower latency.I did pick up some LPX 3600 CL sticks (4x8) to compare performance. I should be able to get even better benchmarks out of those, but these Dominator Platinum sticks look so nice in my (almost entirely) white build that I’m ok to live with a few frames less.
