I bought these because of the whimsy aspect. The art would have appealed to my children. However, what arrived in the mail is nothing like the photo. No whimsy, just standard flash cards with normal, boring clip art photos. Not worth the time to return but still so disappointed.

Great to use with my little one. Easy and fun.

Bought this in December 2020 for my 1-year-old nephew. He can now identify each picture and the corresponding word. It also helped him master his upper and lowercase letters!They are a good size measuring 5.3 x 3 inches (posted a pic of my nephew holding one of the cards.They're made of cardboard. I would have preferred hard plastic, making them more durable. But the cards held up pretty well. They were used upward of 3 times weekly for about 3 months and then usage frequency was reduced...now they're just sitting there and he would occasionally pull them out for revision. I've posted a pic of the most beat-up card so you have an idea.That said, the box does specifically state for 4+ years old (and at that age, children are more careful, and drooling and spills aren't as big an issue (as was the case with my son lol). So, with that, the cardboard material is age appropriate. I would buy again without hesitation.

My son is young adult with disabilities and he loves these cards. I must say that they're adorable and they help teach youngsters the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors. During this pandemic his day program was online and they used them and my son loved it and looked forward to interacting and using these cards throughout the school week. The cards are a good size and colorful. Absolutely adorable. I even got a kick out of seeing them and have purchased them a few times because he likes to rip them. As a matter of fact I'm about to buy him some more. The prices are pretty good and they're great for small children too which I'm sure they were actually for.
