Excellent bass
I fitted these to a Gretsch G5700 when I fitted Certano benders. The sound is good with excellent bass in open D. The bass string is very large but it would just fit the Gretsch tuners. You may wish to check yours if it’s not a Weisborn.

Gauge Too Heavy...
Found these strings too heavy for the more gentle style required for the Wiessenborn. Now prefer to buy individual strings rather than sets.

Having used John Pearse strings before I already know the quality of the product.
I have not used the strings yet as the Dobro for which they are intended is in for repair.
