Every Sushi lover needs this!
The sushi and maki making kit from GYP exceeded all my expectations. Ive tried various kits before, but I just couldn't get the hang of it - this one really stands out from the rest. Everything was packaged so beautifully, and the quality is just amazing! It's also super easy to use and clean, which as a beginner, is a MUST for me! My children really enjoyed making the Sushi, so this will now be a weekly family night activity for our household. I'm excited to try the reusable bamboo paper towels next! Thanks GYP!

Easy to use, mastered 1st time by a 10yr old
My daughter loved this. Whilst it does have the sushi mats the little maki making facility meant that she turned out the photo, on her own, first time. Great little kit.

Good but why do I need a Facebook account to get the ebook? No thanks
The product is of excellent quality. Just keep in mind working with sticky rice means keeping your hands and utensils slightly wet.As the title says, I was disappointed to learn I must have a Facebook account to get the "free" ebook. I left Facebook a while ago because of the Cambridge Analytica scandal and will not return.

Great product
Got what was advertised. Already used it and its really easy. Looking forward to have more sushi at home now. E book was easy to access and has lots of different recipes. Also for vegetarian and vegans

Not bad
Good product, however doing sushi by hand is more easy. The pieces are small when using the sushi maker

Quality Kit for sushi making indeed
I am happy with the kit even though I haven’t use them yet but am sure it does what it says. The only lacking I think is the chopsticks resting small piece. I was also a little disappointed with downloading the recipe book rather than receiving the actual book itself like it shows on the picture. What a waste of ink and paper really so I was just wondering if you have the actual book please considering the price? Other than that I always love sushi anyway in terms of making and having them for a meal and the kit is just a bonus. Thank you.

Incredible! Highly recommend it!
This is a incredible combination of a beautiful simple, solid wood piece with a functional instrument.It has excellent specifications for making perfect makis. It is a piece of sophisticated simplicity, with its dual press functions, water soaking feature instead of oil (bazookas), auxiliary piece to make sure every grain of rice is where it is supposed to be, and beautiful design.My best buy in Japanese cooking. Slam dunk!Just remember to have a really sharp knife to cut the makis - that will be needed for any of these Nori-based dishes (sushis, makis, etc).

The rolling part had broken pieces on it... which obviously isn't cool. Was actually a bit difficult to maneuver, but I'm sure after some practice it could get easier.. thats if it lasts that long...quality was disappointing unfortunately.

To Roll or not to Roll!
The media could not be loaded. Making Sushi is fun! I gave my husband sushi lessons for Father’s Day a few year’s back. We like to make it together for date night or invite couples over to join us. We saw this cute kit that comes with everything in it. The instructions were simple and easy to understand especially if you’ve never made sushi at home. It comes with a cute bag and 5 sets of chopsticks as well as everything else you need. We typically just roll it in the mat, but with this kit and the wood piece you form the roll in-you can add much more ingredients inside the roll itself. It’s a fun family night as well as date night with friends! The natural wood design looks nice instead of plastic spatulas and utensils. Enjoy your sushi night with family or friends! It would be a great housewarming gift!

Not worth it
The quality doesn't seem that great to me, the mat looks like it will break very delicate. The the Maki making block and the rolling mats have splinters not sure if it's even safe to use it. It's way overpriced for the quality it actually is. And I didn't receive any free gifts🤷♀️.P.S they don't pay for your return shipping, for me it's not worth returning since I'm in Canada and have to send it out all the way to Las Vegas Nevada
