It is bigger and heavier than I expected, however, it is definitely full of enough information to keep a child who enjoys reading, very busy. Even a child who isn't quite as enthralled with books, will find themselves drawn to this rather intriguing looking book, and take a moment to look and learn, only to return to it time and time again. It can be a reference book, a bedtime read, a "coffee table" book for kids. Definitely a book they will read many more times than once!

My 5 year old has learned so many new things.We read two pages everyday before bed.The book is sturdy and full of great information.

Hello. Sorry, but the current exemplar of this book doesn't match my expectations of a secondhand book.

Got this book for my 7-year-old daughter. She is curious on mostly living things, but, after getting the book in hand, now she got curious about astronomy, history or even politics :) Every day she is reading some random pages and talks about it with the family. Basically, it is a great book for the whole family. Every body is learning small things every day from the book.One negative side, the book is heavy and quite large, so the little one is afraid to read it while lying on the bed (for now :) )
