My son loves this set
My son is in love with this set... It took him two days to build the whole thing and he loved every minute of the build. The instructions were perfect, and every piece was in the box.

Nice fitting bricks at an economic cost
The item was great. There was a single piece missing however my sons found a replacement from another set that worked fine. They enjoyed making the sets and the pieces locked together nicely.

Cool design, flawed execution
The Good:-100% Big Brand compatible, and a lot cheaper per piece.- The six smaller bots each have cool, distinct, and at times even clever designs.- The combination bot also has a pretty cool design.- Each smaller bot has its own bag of pieces and instructions. The Meh:- The combined bot is not the most structurally sound. The elbows, for example, don't stay where you bend them. Extraneous bits get in the way or break off as you try to pose the combined bot. But as a shelf model, once it's posed, it looks great.- The weapons are flimsy compared to the other pieces, but I assume that's just a child safety feature. The Bad:- One of the pieces had a manufacturing defect. Not enough to make it unbuildable, but it was stressful once I found that, not knowing if there'd be another.- The instructions are packed in tightly, making it harder for the initial build. "Ages 6+" is, I assume, a safety range. Pay more attention to the 4.5/5 stars the box gives the model's Transformation Difficulty. It's not lying.TL;DR - Cheaper than That Big Brand, but you're getting what you pay for.
