Amazing call if you tune and break in
Purchased in 2014 and was really disappointed at first. This thing sounded like a party horn. Not at all "goosey". Looked up videos on call tuning and played with it a bit while also learning about basic calling techniques. Was able to get it to turn over. Pitch was a bit high but it did bring birds in so I wasn't complaining. Very easy to blow and over the course of the season it was sounding better. Decided to use it this season and hold off on buying a high end acrylic. Boy am I glad I did! I am now hitting moans, clucks, and hails and sounding great. My hunting buddies cannot believe the range and quality I'm getting out of a $25 call.I highly recommend this call if you're just starting out on short reeds. If completely new to calling, I'd recommend getting a flute for hunting and this so that you can begin learning short reed calling. Experienced callers may be very surprised what this call has to offer. It's definitely staying on my lanyard!

Cheap but very effective - high value
This call will do what you want it to. I've taken many geese with this call, and I've called some back for a second round. It sounds great, and the price is right. Definitely a buy. It's currently the only goose call I have on my lanyard - or rather, it's the only one I use. Cold weather isn't really a problem unless you're calling for long periods of time. As long as you practice, this sounds just as good as the more expensive calls out there.

Sounds awful
Doesn’t sound like a goose at all, tried messing with the reed to change the pitch, but I just don’t think it was ever meant to sound right

great buy for the money!
Very nice tone for the money, simple to use, and about half the air required as my old short reed. Used to have a Canada hammer 2.

Good call that’s cheap
It’s a really good sounding call that is easy to run. You MUST tune it, it does not come tuned out of the box. Manufacturing is a little rough and needs a file to knock molding ridges off. It is a better call than either the honkey rink from Primos and the Power Cluck from Zink, which are similar beginner calls with slightly higher price points

I am the world's worst hunter, but to see this thing work as ...
The first time I used it with geese in the air, and I watched those geese turn and fly straight at me, I was in awe. I am the world's worst hunter, but to see this thing work as it did, I know my luck is bound to change. Wonderful piece of equipment.
