Bought these expecting that they will be good, 2 hours of receiving them the fuse went on the speaker itself, looked up to see online and it’s common with these speakers that their fuse is bad and not only that the capacitors are cheap and are known to cause problems. Be wary as I switched to the Yamaha HS5 which are a lot better and was on £5 more for what I spent on these.

These really are amazing speakers for the price. I can't believe how much low end punch they have for their size. I thought I'd need a sub, but not with these. Bear in mind, I'm not a producer. I just got them to listen to music, play games and watch video. I'm extremely fussy when it comes to audio quality and these are some of the best sounding speakers I've had. The detail they give is just amazing. Vocals, strings and saxophones sound incredible! The bass is deep and controlled. They really are unforgiving with bad mixes though! (As they should be). I highly recommend them for the price.

This speaker is a very good desk monitor, however I still felt the low end lacking and also bought the Presonus sub-woofer for below the desk. Combined with this, the overall performance is superb. If you're only looking to listen to some music at your desk then you don't need Presonus as they're over the top and there's plenty of cheaper alternatives for that. These are studio monitors for production and they do a great job in this regard.
