I used these fire dragon fuel blocks to try and cook a full English breakfast , all six fuel blocks had burnt out by the time I'd cooked the breakfast.It was a tad windy though at the time but not too bad, I was using a small wind shield but the fuel burnt away far too quickly.I'd use this fuel for a cup of tea or coffee but i wouldn't use it for food again , especially on a windy day.I'll be sticking to my alcohol stove for cooking, just as lightweight, cheaper fuel and better performance.

Although these lit well and burned well they melt and poor through the base of the solid fuel cooker. THis is mentioned by a previous reviewer so 'solid fuel' in the description is wrong. I should have listened to previous review but I thought I could work around this. I used a small tin to contain the gel block but this was awkward and messy. Summary good as a firelighter only, delivery etc fine. I'll need a solid block fuel for my stove in future. When part burned I blew it out & it set, I wrapped in a bag but it would not light again when I went to use it. It also smelled through the bag. 2 stars for description of use 'solid fuel'.

Thought they were the ones when gas fuelled. BnQ are not allowed to burn to cook.However I would say they are more of a lighting BBQ aid to get fire going than a burning fuel in its own right

Not used it in the wild yet but works a treat in the shed. Gel blocks last in the region of 10 minutes and, in these ideal conditions, a cup of water boils in about 4.5. Picked up a 2nd one to keep in the car. Just in case.

Tested 2 blocks, approx burn time 10 mins. Boiled my kettle and kept me warm. Clean burn, odourless. Yet to cook with these, buy I think 2 to 3 blocks could easily do a full English. Very happy with my purchase.
