I never, ever want to run out of this product because it’s been helping me to start my lawnmowers in the springtime. I’ve been using Sta-bil on and off for the last 20 years. It’s an excellent product that actually does what it’s says. Recently proven to be the best at its job and an overall value by a 5 year long term test by Project Farm on YouTube. Stop wasting your money on all the other brands and stick with that works.

Todd at Project Farm on YouTube reviewed several fuel stabilizers and concluded that STA-BIL is the best value. Of course I had to check it myself because I don't trust everything I watch or read on the Interwebs. Normally, I winterized all my lawn care equipment, including the 9KW CAT generator, by emptying out the fuel and running them until they use up any fuel left in the carburetor and fuel line. However, last season I tried STA-BIL in all my lawn care equipment and the generator. It took me a couple extra pulls and every single one of them started and ran. There was a little smoke and it sputtered , but smothed out and ran perfectly. I now use STA-BIL each winter in all my small engines.

hard to tell until you have a problem. supposedly has a great shelf life. keeping gas in the motor is good because carb gaskets, Orings, & seals do not dry out. this is a good product if it does what it says. I put it in my car and truck because I put so few miles on, I do use my vehicles as gas cans for my generator, so I always keep each 3/4 full.

Works as advertised. Stored my motorcycle with a tankful of petrol with the recommended quantity of sta-bil mixed in and it fired up on the first push of the starter button when it was taken out of storage 4 months later.
