Baguette Flipping Board Set Bakers Couche, Bread Lame, Transfer Peel Bread Peel for French Bread Baguettes, Loaves and Ciabatta

I purchased this set for the planche de retournement or turning board as it is known and for the lame. The price of these two items separately was just a bit less than this set, which gave me an extra couche.I really like the planche or baguette transfer peel as it is long enough to hold any baguette that I could possibly make in my home oven (18"). It has a printed inch scale which I have used several times now when rolling out baguettes. It is easy to clean, as I just wipe it down and make sure that it is stored so that it is flat so as to avoid warping.The lame also works well and comes with extra sets of double edge razor blades. These blades are likely to last for a long, long time as dough is not very abrasive on blades and providing you keep the supplied blade guard on.The couche, I have not used as of this review as I have anther couche. I am holding this one in reserve.

This set really bumped my bread baking up a notch. I rub flour into the cloth before kneading dough and there's no sticking thus avoiding adding more flour. The peel is top qualty and great for moving dough to pan.
