Perfect lid opening on top and perfect for A4 size mail

Thin metal, but does the job. Big enough for A4 envelopes...

Very happy with the post box. I installed it 3 weeks ago so time will tell if it's weatherproof & good quality. Simple design, sleek shape & looks good quality. I didn't want anything too decorative so this fit the brief. There is a flap on top and I'm not sure if that is annoying for the post person to lift each time - but my post is arriving (and stays dry) so that's a good sign! Paid £24.59 + postage.

Due to my dogs tearing up my mail I had to find a solution. I looked at lots of different letter boxes and chose this one because of it's appearance and the good feedback. I wasn't disappointed, I'm really happy with it. It was delivered quickly and was very easy to install, even for a novice like me who hadn't used a drill before! The mail slot is a good size and all my post has fitted in it so far. It looks attractive, keeps my post safe and doesn't let any water in. I haven't used the paper insert on the front but it could be useful if you live in a multi-occupancy household as you can write your property number or name on. Highly recommended.

Lightweight and weatherproof easy to install

This is a nice post box. But a few things to note. 1st, if somebody wants to open the door by force... you could just probably just pull and bend the door with your fingers. 2nd, the actual letter box opening is pointless! The opening is that wide I can get my HAND 3/4 of the way down! So if your letter isn't a single Christmas card that managed to fall to the bottom.... you could just pull out a4 mail, or letters that gave gone in vertically, or if there was a bundle. However if this postbox is to be used, for example... a trustworthy workspace, or maybe a farmhouse with no trespassers etc... its great! I am using as a medicine cabinet but had to seal the letterbox or again, it would have been pointless as my kids could have just put there hands through the top! So I guess it depends what you want it for. If its for a trusty office space etc, then 5* ...But if its for anywhere there could be someone untrustworthy knocking about etc, then 0*. With the lid sealed, it fits my needs. I guess it depends what your needs are?

Clean lines... contemporary look. It looks nice on the wall and was easy to fit. It comes with spacers to lift it off the wall a bit. Doubles up to seal the screw holes at the back of the box. Mine is installed under an overhang so can't say how it would fare in an exposed setting but my mail has always been dry. A light spring in the lid would prompt the postie to close the lid. A light oiling on the hinge does the same though. Size wise it's great. Long narrow slot. Can't get the mail out with my hand so secure as well unless you have a hammer but who really robs your mail... it's usually bills.
