Such a great travel find for our kids!!!
Such a great and fun game. Super lightweight and easy to store/pack away. Comes with a mini dice & super easy to use for the kids!

A family favorite
My son, and I love this game. We play it almost daily while commuting. Wish it came with more than one die, considering how tiny it is, and how easy it is to lose it. The magnets aren’t the greatest either but we try to be very careful not to lose any pieces now.

Perfect for travel
This is perfect for camping: light weight. I am happy with this purchase. It seems it might be a little difficult to use (stacking "cards") but it will still be a fun camping solo game.

Great for travel
This kept my 6 and 8 year olds entertained on a long road trip. Also great to keep in your purse for restaurants, long waits, etc. My only complaint is that the small dice is not magnetic, so I won’t be surprised if we lose it at some point. Great otherwise!

Very small pieces, hard to handle!
The Purple Cow Magnetic Travel Solitaire Game - Board Games for Kids and Adults. Great for T... is a great idea however I found it to be very difficult to use the magnetic pieces ("cards") due to them being so small. Difficult to shuffle and place on the metal lid (inside has a place to put them to play). At least it is magnetic so the pieces stay put where you put them.

Great for airplane
Worked great for my kids on the plane. Great value and quality. Pieces are a little small but it kept the kids busy!

Good idea, very poor design and execution
A travel-size magnetic Battleship-type game? Perfect! Sounds ideal for roadtrips and waits at restaurants and airports, doesn't it?If only. Here are the problems:1. The design of the pieces is not great. The cardboard and the magnet separate far too easily, so even before we could play, we had to get out the glue and try to fix it.2. The design of the game itself is very poor, and not well thought out at all. Each player has five little ships, 18 or so red circles for "hits," and 49 black circles for "misses." This makes sense for game play, but the board isn't big enough to hold the pieces while playing. (See the picture I attached.) Where in the world are you supposed to put the pieces so you can play the game and see the numbers and letters on the grid? You could put them in a cup or bowl, but remember: This is supposed to be a travel game that you can easily play on the go. This is a more than a design flaw: It makes the game virtually unusable.3. Okay, let's say you figure out what to do with the extra pieces, and you're able to start playing. Your opponent calls out a coordinate, and it's a hit. If you were playing Battleship, you'd put a red peg in your ship. Here, you try to put a red magnet on your ship that was hit, and... no luck. The red piece is too big in relation to the ship, and the magnet is too weak, so it slips right off. Maybe this doesn't sound like a dealbreaker, but let's say you hit one of your opponent's ships, and you're playing against a kid who's still getting a feel for the game. What should have been a fun game just became incredibly confusing and frustrating, and in my case, the game was given up almost immediately. What we have here is a good idea in need a design overhaul, and until then, it's simply not practical or worth buying.
