The book is great, but the pen does not work

Purchased this book for my 3 year old and she loves it! I like that it is very colorful and keeps her fairly engaged as it’s not just all abc and 123. Good mix of abc, 123, matching games, tracing/ writing on your own. I would have given it a 5*, except for this dang pen that comes with it.. it is so small and the tip is not built for toddlers learning to grip and learning to write. And if you don’t wipe the page almost immediately after the toddler draws on it, the marker is hard to get off. Which I feel bad doing as my little one will be so proud and show me what she did and I’m thinking “that’s great, honey. Now let me wipe it off before it dries and stays on the book permanently.” Other than the pen- very happy with my purchase. I’ll have to try what others on here have recommended and use a dry erase expo.

Great book for toddlers. My 3 year old son loves his book and is excited to use it every day. I bought other dry erase markers to use with it though the black one it comes with stains his hands
