Finally needed to replace my 15 year old projector, which had a 1.5" NPT pipe mount. Found this, price was right, and worked great with the ViewSonic projector I had bought. Only suggestion would be to put thumb-screws for the center rock and tilt adjustments. Get it right, hand tighten, and then lock the outer screws. My projector only had 3 mount points, so I just removed the 4th mount arm by the instructions. Overall, easy installation, and quality mount.UPDATE: You receive an offer for a free HDMI cable with the mount, once you write a review. While my review was not influenced by the free offer, I was disappointed when I tried to claim one, that they discontinued the program in March, 2019, but still sell product with the offer included.

When I hang an expensive video projector, I want to be sure it will stay that way, and this mount does the job. I know you could spend a lot more, but I'm hard-pressed to imagine what more you would want from a projector mount. This one is a major improvement over my previous mount that seemed less than solid in the way it supported the projector. I feel totally confident in the QualGear mount.

I need a mount to hold a large projector replacing my 2004 Sony. The QualGear was specified to hold 74 pounds I believe it, the fully adjustable rails are thick and sturdy. The set screws do not damage the finish when you torque them down. The directions are clear for the most part but I did need to turn the pipe thread mount 90 degrees to mount the projector from the side.

Adjusts to any angle. Easy to install and they provide different types of screws for different scenarios. FYI this will not reach all screws of some Epson models as Epson puts one of there screw holes in almost the center of the projector. I wound up using a 3rd screw hole not intended for support but it worked out anyway. None of this was the fault of the mount. I should have done my homework better. Great mount!

This is versatile and stable projector mount. I would recommend it.The description and pictures may be a little confusing, though. Only the base and 1.5" NPT adapter are included. There are no extenders or pipe connectors included with this product. Those must be purchased separately.

very practical , and all way around rotation was perfect for my application. very easy to mount.

This allowed me to mount my 32" flat screen TV over my bed so I can watch TV and use the computer from my bed without bending my neck on a pillow.

Business use

It was fine. Took us about two to install. Only two out of three screws (optima) so hopefully it won't fall down. Solid construction. The adjustment of pitch etc is a total pain as it's a tiny screw you have to adjust after you install.... on the ceiling! If they had a better way, eg a rotating lever, it save us an hour and a bit

Need special screwdriver for installing , not fit for epson projector , you need convertor for connecting 1" pipe on the ceiling and it's solid
