Sturdy
I am just a hobby baker learning how to decorate. This cake stand is the best that could have happened to me. It's sturdy, holds up great while tilted while it can be turned around at the same time. I highly recomend it for frosting designs on the sides of the cake!

Great turntable
I was a bit skeptical about ordering a pricey turntable to decorate cakes as a hobby. The first time I used it I was so pleased as it made it so easy. The locking feature is fantastic when doing intricate piping and takes your skill to another level. It was worth the money I paid for it. Very happy overall with the quality.

FANTASTIC
This is exactly what I've been looking for. It has a good weight, is sturdy and very user friendly. The top comes off, the tilt mechanism is excellent and very easy to use. Ignore the reviews where people say their cakes have fallen off - use your common sense, SUPPORT the cake with one hand, or put the cake on after you've tilted it. The tilt function does have a slight click into position, but this is brilliant for returning the cake to a level position from tilt. With other turntables it is impossible to find the level position after tilting. Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!
