This is like a very thick balm, somewhere between a cream and ointment, so it was a saviour to my dry flakey skin. I use retinol and winter coupled with using actives and acids damaged my moisture barrier. This cream helped repair it and leaves my skin so hydrated and moist. I use it every morning to get me through the long cold winter days. It’s heavier than the intensive barrier cream and great for sensitive skin as it has no fragrance or any irritating ingredients.

Amazing - I had the worst chemical burns on my face due to a glycolic acid product and even after a week nothing was improving and nothing worked to calm down my severely irritated wounds. I put this on for half a day and already saw improvements. Now, after 2 days of use my skin has calmed down significantly and you can barely notice the scars. I anticipate that within a week those will be gone too. 5 stars. One of the best products I've ever used and would highly recommend. Also sinks into your skin really well.

pros- very soothing to the skin- seems great for sensitive skin-moisturises skincons- can leave greasy residue on greasy skin- for dry or damaged skin it may be a little too light, maybe try a heavier lotion

Recently developed an angry itchy rash on my inner elbows, which I think was contact dermatitis. I'd heard great things about the 2x barrier cream, so thought I'd give its richer cousin a try. After a week the rash has faded almost entirely (it was bright red before) and the itching is almost gone too
