Weaver Leather Diamond Braid Rope Halter and Lead

Considering it shipped from the States it arrived quickly. The rope is good quality and very soft. The additional lead rope is a really good length for schooling but not very practical for general use. My mare prefers it to a traditional headcoller as she is a big horse but has a small girly face. I like the way it has flourescent stripes which makes it great during the grey British winter. Good Job! Very Happy!

Only lost a star because lead rope was not as long as stated...otherwise a good buy

Chuffed with this. Well made and great quality. Been using it for a while and my youngster much prefers it to a typical head collar!

The lead rope should have been heavier and the halter is a small size full.

I have high expectations for Weaver products because I already own a few of their rope halters, and this one fell a bit short. It is too small for my quarter horse/paint's face, and the lead rope is not as long as I expected, nor is it the quality I expected. It seems cheap, and the knot used to tie it to the halter is not a standard Weaver knot like they used to have; the cheap lead rope is granny-knotted and then melted together. It's a cheap halter, so you get what you pay for, but I was disappointed with the quality of this Weaver product.
