TV Clip for XB ONE Kinect 2.0

So, I've been meaning to purchase something like this for awhile. My Kinect was sitting in front of our sound bar on the TV stand, which understandably made it hard for the Kinect to hear our commands when the TV was loud. So, now it's above the TV, gets a better view of the room, seems to recognize us easier, and definitely hears our commands better. There is another model of this out there, it is identical, obviously made by the same company, with one exception, it has the company name in white on it. I preferred this one because it didn't have the white lettering/company name on the front. Being all black it blends into my TV.Tip: This thing is really sturdy, however when you recalibrate your Kinect, you might have to adjust the Kinect up or down, as sturdy as this TV clip is, it will not hold up to the force you will put on it while making the adjustment, so be careful while fixing the kinects pitch. Good thing is, you only have to do that once, when you set it up, so you are good to go after that.. and this think will hold the Kinect above the TV with no issues.

This clip articulates at two points to fit various TVs or monitors. Only problem is the joints do not stay in the position you set them at. My Kinect barely hangs on my new Vizio TV. I don't trust it to hold. I'd return it but the shipping expense would be close to the purchase price. Well, I may return it just based on principle. This mount is a turd.

So I got my TV Clip which was great but the free silicon controller grip was not for my Xbox one but a Playstation controller. Sends this guy can't give the right things to people from what I read.

I can now confirm that the Xbox one Kinect sensor can endure the impact of a 2 foot drop onto a hard surface. Face first. Multiple times.Seriously though, I would have paid 5 times as much for something that wouldn't lose its tension after 10 days of use. Worked decently for the first few days though.

Great product for the price. Does what you need it to do and is not too bulky. Looks great on top of our LCD.

My Kinect 2.0 for my XBone was extremely inconsistent and frustrating to use when I had it placed on top of my soundbar. I read online that if you have a soundbar, you should mount the Kinect on top of your TV. This is the cheapest solution I found, and it works absolutely perfectly! Now my Kinect functions properly (it hasn't missed a single command since I've mounted it). It's easy to set up, and is a nice black color that matches with the Kinect and my TV. I'd 100% recommend this product.

First of all, this item took 3 WEEKS to receive! Unbelievable.Second, it came in a bubble wrap envelope with no paperwork whatsoever. Not even the receipt of purchase.Third, and most important, it doesn't work at all! I couldn't even get to the point of putting the kinect sensor on it because a small amount of pressure makes this thing fold. If it clicked into place, then it would be fine...but it doesn't. Disappointed 👎

I've bought 6 of these and have had to throw out 2. Basically the hinge can be really rigid which is what you want or totally flimsy (which means it will fall off your TV). For only $6 it wasn't worth the hassle of returning so I chucked them. I've had luck once with Kinect Sensor TV Mount Clip for Xbox One but other folks haven't. They might both use the same technology and occasionally it fails. YMMV. Note that the 360 clip and Xbox One clip are different. And that there are several versions that look just like this one (and I assume come from the same factory)
