I went from commercial varieties of foods to homemade cause of food intolerance, but when I did, something was missing, a certain acid taste, figured out it was the citric acid, so adding that to my homemade hummus, makes it taste rightAlso works in some cake recipes, instead of used in baking powder. You can go ahead and use your baking soda, and it still helps it to rise. It also helps to preserve foods.

Purchased for home canning. A little goes a long way. Not detectable taste if you use amount called for in canning recipe. Have purchased twice over 3 canning seasons ( mainly use for tomatoes ). Good product.

This is an amazing cleaner for hard water. Unbelievable where has it been all my life. I recently started drinking distilled water and using distilled water in my plant room. The distillers need cleaning because of the hard water that I have in my town. They recommend citric acid let it come to a boil and then turn it off and it cleans it as sharp as a whistle.Recently, somebody had a stainless steel pan that was absolutely gorgeous except it had a bunch of white stuff at the bottom that wouldn’t come off. I took it home filled halfway with hot water boiled it added couple tablespoons of this and it came out brand new.

I used it to clean the tank in my toilet. Used 1/3 of the jar, mixed in the tank and waited 30 minutes. Cleaned out about 95% of the goop. Better than anything else I've ever used.

I like to eat citrus acid by its self and this is good 👍
