Pentair Pentek 153128 10-Inch Standard Clear Housing Sump

My original sump was 12 years old and they recommend replacing them after so many years even if they look ok. Lots of people complained about some other “off brand” sumps leaking because they didn’t seat properly but this one fit perfect and no leaks!

Twisted right on. Smoothly. No problem. What a relief to receive the cartridge promptly and have house water again. Nice to be able to purchase the cartridge alone (without the lid, but be sure to order new o-rings (2) so that you will have a spare handy...I also ordered a spare cartridge so that if I make the mistake of letting this one get too hot or cold and having it crack, I will be able to replace it right away).

I bought this to replace an original which cracked and flooded my garage. The issue is it would not fit the old one. Not sure if the male plastic end has swelled over the years or not. This seems to be made well but unfortunately I could not use it

Didn’t fit. Still has original packaging. Never used tried to return and they request $17+ to return it BS. And this isn’t cheap

I have four heads sitting around because we couldn't get the bowl only. We have been buying these from a local company being told the bowl wasn't available separately. Finally Amazon fixed the problem. As far as the bowl goes this is our fifth one replaced in 12 years. They seem to be heavy enough but are subject to cracking vertically down from the mounting threads. I hand tight then do a very small twist with the filter wrench. The bowl price is close to the complete unit price. The dealer/manufacturer, need to do something about this as they may be taking advantage of a weak bowl issue. Also, always have a spare bowl on hand with a couple of new o-rings. Delivery was a few days so be ready if you get a crack in your bowl.

My HF-360 housing cracked in a below zero freeze. Bought a HF-360A because I couldn’t find a HF-360. I did not want to plumb out the top valve housing, and it turns out the seal on the HF-360 top valve did not fit properly on the HF-360A housing. Saw this on line and thought “what the heck, let’s try it!” And it sealed on perfectly!

We have such crummy water here in the country, it always has dirt in it. I wanted to change the filter at least every other month, but I could not see how bad the filter is behind the blue housing. i bought this and it did not come with a new seal, go figure, so I tried to place the old seal in the new housing and there was enough slop in the fit, I decided not to use it. You will definitely need a different seal on the new clear device, it will leak if you don’t. I don’t see any seals to fit this clear housing. Why would they not put a new seal with the housing? You got me.
