High end wrench.
I wanted the highest quality American made 8” crescent I could buy, but found every American name brand I looked at farms out manufacturing to other countries. So I checked out other brands. I wasn’t aware at all of Bahco, but found it’s a venerable Swedish company known for superior engineering and high quality manufacturing. The information on Amazon didn’t specify where the wrench was manufactured, but knew by reputation it should be excellent. Turns out when I received it, the card said it was made in Spain (some of the higher priced wrenches sold by American companies are made in Spain). This wrench is as good as I had hoped it would be. Perfect fit and finish, high-quality materials, tight tolerances (very little play in the movable jaw), smooth adjusting screw, and comfortable rubber grip. The next tool I buy will likely be an American brand made in Spain, but hopefully American manufacturing will pick up and it will be made here. But this is a heck of a nice wrench.

High quality
Excellent adjustable wrench, wide jaw, comfort grip. I use it every day at work and so far so good.

good, meaty wrench
i have had this now for about two weeks. i carry it on the job in my pocket. it replaced an abused craftsman 6 inch adjustable. at first i wasnt crazy about it because it is significantly bigger than any other 6 inch adjustable i own and is therefore a bit more cumbersome to carry. however, the jaws slide open and closed so smoothly and i can grab anything that an 8 inch adjustable will grab (it opens to about 1 1/8" or so!) that i am starting to really like this tool. the grip is nice and comfy and the hole in the end is big enough to bend tabs or pins if needed. so far so good. update 12/16/15: this is still a really good adjustable wrench. i keep seeing the reviews comparing it to a crescent. if you have ever actually owned and used a crescent brand adjustable (like industrial use, not used it once to build a plastic cabinet at home), you will be truly impressed with the lack of backlash. however, this is still an adjustable wrench and it DOES have backlash. if you dont want backlash, try using the correct sized wrench/socket. i do have one complaint, though its not a star killer. i got a 6 inch so that i didnt have to lug around an 8 incher. this bahco is just as bulky and heavy, if not more so, than my proto 8" click stop, while not having the leverage of the slightly longer handle. i will probably end up with a 6" click stop soon since if i am at work, i have an adjustable wrench on me...and while the bahco is a great tool and performs well, it is quite beefy for pocket carry. if you carry a pouch or push a tool cart, that wont be an issue and the bahco is worth the weight due to its ruggedness and extra wide jaw.

Just buy it
Great quality tool. Same as snap on. Easy to adjust. Thinner with wide jaw. Bought to keep in tool bag instead of bringing my expensive snap on everywhere

Just as good as name brand wrenches
Exactly the same as snapon but a fraction of the price. Just don’t double wrench them or smack with hammer for extra tension on your fittings. I stripped out the thumb roller on several of these wrenches.

Would buy again!
Worth the buy. Jaws are not sloppy like others. Feels good in hand.
