As a long time buyer of Maui Jim, I was a bit surprised how well these compared. The optic clarity isn't as good as the real deal, but the polarizing is excellent and for the money I can't complain. I have about a dozen pairs of Maui Jims and I love the Lighthouse model for its rimless design, especially for driving. However, they tend break over time. MJ will replace the parts, but the effort of going through warranty is a bit of an inconvenience, so I started buying rimmed versions of their glasses instead. I was ordering something else and these popped on my "you may be interested" list, so I impulse bought them and have been extremely pleased. I think these fit my big head a little better, than the genuine article, so I'm hopeful the stress cracks on the lenses won't appear... if they do, they are cheaper than getting the warranty replacement.

I love the sunglasses, very nice design, fit very well, improve visibility, very light weight therefore i dont get any discomfort for wearing them for a long period of time when driving or staying outdoor, great price also.I really have zero complaints and really glad to find them and bought them, I am thinking about buying another pair with different color lenses.I don’t know what the deal is with the negative comments from the other person - misdirect anger??

As a lifetime Maui Jim customer I finally got fed up with breaking my flimsy $200+ sunglasses over and over again and decided to try other companies. First up, Jim Halo. The polarized lenses are excellent! The frames are snug fitting to face, that's good. Maui Jims tend to stretch over time. Quality wise, Jim Halo's are looking good. Very good! I'd easily pay $49.95 in a retail setting for these Jim Halo blue frame sunglasses. Will be back to purchase more, so I hope we Maui Jim customers don't empty their stock too soon.
