Love it but listing cons
As an inflatable kayak, it works great. I have 4 kayaks and this is my "solo lazy" kayak. It maneuvers fairly easy in the water. Compared to my first kayak, a cheap kayak I bought at a local sporting good store, this inflatable is far better but of course it doesn't compare at all to my much more expensive kayak. I love this kayak for going out on the lake solo but I'm going to list the cons. The seat is uncomfortable, so I stopped using it. Without the seat, it's very comfortable and I usually find a secluded spot and just lay down. The inflatable backrest serves as a great pillow and I'm able to slowly paddle laying down while enjoying the breeze and the birds. (I'm 5'3 and I fit quite well in a lying position.) There is one air valve on the right that I have accidently opened twice and it started deflating. I have since learned to slap some duct tape on it before I head out now. I haven't learned to fold it back up for storage properly but in all fairness, I didn't take the time to learn. I just fold it up and go. It deflates quickly and is easy to clean. The pump works fine but I bought an electric pump so I don't use the pump that it came with it. Now to the the paddle, it's junk. Take it straight to the garbage can where it belongs. There are too many flaws on the paddle to mention. I realize I listed all the cons but I still love this kayak for lazy lake days. It's easy to transport, inflate and deflate. It's convenient. I just throw it in the back and drive. When I'm out on the water, it often feels like I'm on an air mattress and I have been known to fall asleep. It is an inflatable so you have to compare it to other inflatables. I wouldn't use it for more serious kayaking days. It is sturdy though. Once, I got stuck on rocks and I had to get out and drag it across the rocks. Another time, I was kayaking past some fallen trees and I was worried about the branches scraping against the kayak. The kayak stood up just fine, it's very durable.

Best kayak for the cost! Hands down!
The media could not be loaded. We are absolutely in LOVE with these little kayaks. In fact, we liked them so much we traded in our tandem for two more so we now have four of the Sevylor K5 kayaks and couldn’t be happier. A few tips before you start (wish someone had told us lol)1: Immediately get new paddles. 3/4 of our paddles broke within minutes of the first trip on the water. It was NOT fun getting back with tiny hand oars. Also, the blisters they gave were REAL! 😩 Don’t even attempt it. I promise.2. The skeg makes the boat turn in circles. No it’s not your imagination. Someone else said they cut them off with a kitchen knife and that’s my next chore for these also.3. Make sure you have them blown up enough. This is super important. My oldest daughter didn’t have hers blown up enough and ended up looking like a bad scene from the titanic by the time we got back to dock 😂😂😂4. Make sure you clean them and dry them before you fold them back up for storage. This was initially very hard. We ended up piling them in the trunk and bringing them back home to do and it was still very cumbersome. Someone else mentioned separating the belly from the bag and that helped tremendously!5. Huge drawback!!!!! Be careful when lining up the seat with the kayak. The backpack (lime green) turns into your actual seat. So because the Velcro ripped halfway through the trip (this Velcro secures the seat to the kayak) so it caused one strap in two separate boats to snap and break permanently so those seats will no longer snap in with the kayak. This is the biggest upset for us! I’m not sure how they will function without the seats being secured to the kayak at all but I will update after we try again.Major bonuses: they blow up SO fast and easily. They really do fold into a backpack and even my 12 year old can carry his pack through the woods to the dock. The actual kayak had lots of room on board. Leg room for me was mediocre and a bit rough due to bad knees and not much ability to change position. This only bothered those of us with bad knees lol.I gave it a 4 star because we love them so much but to be fair with all of the broken parts and paddles I would give it a solid 3. We still will make do with them but these are major things to be considered.

Adventure kayaking fun
Just got back from kayaking the Rio Grande through the Santa Elena Canyon in a pair of these. AND I FRIGGING LOVED IT. Here's why:1. These kayaks assemble and inflate very quickly - less than 5 minutes.2. Perfect size - I'm 6' 2", 185lbs, and I had some room to spare. Plus they aren't that heavy and much easier to travel with than a hard body.3. Easy to pack - each kayak carried a tent, an extra paddle, the pump, a day bag w/ food, 3L water bladder, a filled dry sack hooked to float behind, an extra Class I PFD, river shoes, and a few beers ;)4. Highly responsive manuevering - I was able to paddle quickly through rough rapids, turn on a dime, paddle backwards, and slide right into a muddy bank landing.5. A trick I learned when I got sucked in between 2 boulders less than 3ft apart - if you lean back hard on the back rest and push your feet down on the foot rest, you will pick up off your butt, stretch the kayak length ways, and slide through tight spots or over shallow waters.6. After the expensive paddle I bought to replace the included paddle, which is universally trashed in these reviews, BROKE in the rapid immediately before the biggest rapid, I was forced to use the included paddle. And it worked great! It wasnt as comfortable and did give me a blister or two, but heck - it saved my life when I wrote it off.7. Easy to dry - remove the bladder from the cover slip and hang both out to dry for a day.I really cant come up with a single con for this product. It has exceeded my expectations and held up to some real abuse. I'll update this review if it ever fails me, but I really doubt it ever will.
