I used this on my 4 year daughter’s big girl bed. She is night time potty trained but of course she has occasional accidents. This pad keeps the sheets dry so you only have to launder the pad and the sheets stay dry and clean. This is especially useful because wetting accidents always happen in the middle of the night and it’s difficult to change a full size bed at 3:00 AM. Since purchasing it, she’s only had two accidents and both times I was pleased with the product. I think I’ll keep it on her bed for a while. I find the fabric soft and she agrees because she doesn’t complain about it being itchy or uncomfortable. Overall, I think it’s worth the price. I will buy another one when my son is out of a pull up.

My son sleeps on the twin bunk bed and this stays in place! Despite all of his tossing and turning. They are also very easy for him to change he's only 8 years old. So he knows if he wakes up in the morning and it's messed he has control to take it off and put a new one on. And if they end up in the laundry room I just do them. It has really helped with the embarrassment factor for him. We do not dry ours, we wash it in cold water with appropriate detergents and let it hang dry. We have found no need to use bleach or any other substances to keep it clean it pretty much comes clean entirely once washed. I purchased these before Christmas and again recently only because I wanted more of them because they work so well. We also wrap our Pack and Play Pad in it and allow our niece to sleep on it as well with no issues. He also says they do not make him sweat at night which was another important factor with him always being so hot sleeping on those plastic sheets.

I have bought this product twice already. The first time I bought for a friend of mine whose Mom has incontinence issues and my friend was so happy because instead of having to wash sheets every single day all she needs to wash is this and that is it. So I got her a set of two so that she had a fresh one while she washed the other one. I also bought another for my husband which sweats during the night. This maintains the mattress clean and fresh from urine, sweat or for teen girls/women cycles.

So overall, I am happy with this product. The quilting looks thick and sturdy, as well as the stitching. My only issue is that it says there are handles for moving a person to help prevent bedsores. That is absolutely not true. Thee are no handles on this, whatsoever. There is a picture of the handles on the back of the package, but it's 100% false advertising--from a different product altogether. You can tell bc this product is advertised to have flaps that tuck under the mattress (and it does), but in the picture w/the 'handles' there are no flaps at all. Now, I don't need the handles so I will still gave this 4 stars, but I hate false advertising--you lose a star for that. Other than that, it seems to be a good product. I haven't washed it yet, so hopefully it holds up for my grandma. I'll update this review if I see problems...

These are really nicely-made pads. I bought them to use while our dog recovered from back surgery. Because our boy was having neurological issues, he had bouts of incontinence for a couple of months, and these came in handy. They’re sturdy but soft against his coat/skin and didn’t make him hot. The side flaps are a nice addition as well.These mattress protectors are not inexpensive, but they are well worth the money. Before ordering these, I bought a couple of baby mattress pads from my local Walmart. They were less expensive but much smaller, and the quality doesn’t even compare. They were a horrible, pilled mess after one wash, on gentle cycle.These pads, however, have held up nicely, and I’d definitely buy them again.
