Smart Choice Range Knob Kit, Fits Most, Stainless Steel - KNOBKIT4S

I was able to find one of the widgets that fit the knob for my GE gas range, but it stuck out to far. I returned the set and bought one from GE directly that matched my other unbroken 3.

The quality of the knob itself appears great. It is solid metal and is a huge upgrade over our plastic knobs. However, many people do point out two significant design flaws. First, they do sit a bit high on most surfaces. It is not a deal breaker for me, but it is true. Second (and more importantly), the inserts have an open hole through them with nothing to press against the post on the stove. Thus, it is impossible to press and turn as required by most electric cooktops. However, I bought one of the many returns on Amazon Warehouse, so I thought I would see if I could find an easy fix. It turns out you can carefully drill a small hole at a slight angle on the inside ( cross shaped) part of the insert. Then screw into the hole a small screw that overlaps the opening. This creates the stop needed.This step should not be needed, but it is an easy solution and worth a few minutes of time, particularly if you get them from Amazon Warehouse. Hopefully, the manufacturer will improve on the design in future versions

These seemed fine and would be easy to install, but didn't work with my stove top. The options were not quite the right fit and the closest left the knob too high off the stove top. Wish I could return.

The stainless steel is great quality. So much better than the cheap plastic ones that came on our stove top. Now it matches my range hood and other appliances. They makes the stovetop look more expensive. We have a whirlpool glass top electric stove and these fit perfectly with the red connectors. It’s easy to push them down and turn the stove on. I saw one review said they had to drill a hole in them for that to work, but I had no issues with that on our stove top. Great for the price especially considering the replacement whirlpool black plastic ones were more expensive.

Like the way these work and the fact they are metal. The factory knobs on our bosch range are plastic and wrinkled up and looked bad. Don't know why Bosch would use a plastic knob on a $2000 plus range, but they do, couple that with over $100 for a new set if they even have them. I did need to shim the inside of the knob so that they would depress the gas control shaft so that it would operate, so not a total plug and play operation, but other than that I am satisfied with the look and hope they will stay that way. Now what do I do with all the adaptors that are unused?Well I have to update this review as initially I thought these were going to work on my Bosch range. The adaptor that fit the best seemed to be ok at first, but soon became loose and began falling off the stove or disconnecting itself from the metal knob. They looked great and may work well on other ranges than this one, but I am back to the drawing board.

Tacky looking shiny plastic that took mere pocket change to manufacture being sold at this price point should be a crime. If your appliance requires you to press down on the knob to turn it on, this is not a product for you.

I tried so many dial knobs of my Samsung gas rage. the original parts are way high in price with one knob price I can by 8 pieces of dial knobs in this product so u can imagine how pricey they are ,and I tried this product they fit perfectly and the steel finish is good

It is not as perfect at it looks, sometimes they come out but the price for the lot of 4 is less than half of only ONE of my buttons of my oven. So very good price for this compromise

Good selection of adapters to fit the knob to different stove. None of them were a good fit for my stove (Maytag), they were either too loose or too tight. I ended up wrapping a little foil tape around the stem of the dial on the stove and got the adapters to fit tight that way, seems to be holding well. The knobs in this kit are very decent and don’t look out of place on my stove.
