Does it work on oil treated hair?

You can put oil on it after. Not sure if it will go on if its been treated.

Does the product have a thin watery consistency or more like mascara? Thanks.

It's like mascara but isn't waterproof like it says. It comes off when you wipe sweat away but doesn't really run. I haven't used it in awhile since I'm more gray now but it was a great solution to delay coloring my hair for years as I started to get gray. I loved it but you could feel it in your hair when you touch it. You could brush it and it would stay in. I hope that helps.

Will this wash out with facial cleanser and water?

It would come off somewhat on my towel when I was working out and sweating. It comes off when you wash your hair so I assume it would come off with facial cleaner and water.
