Africa’s Top Geological Sites Paperback – Illustrated, 1 September 2016

I have a layman's interest in geology and my facination of South Africa's was stimulated when I flew from Jo'burg to Cape Town and looked out of the window. I have been interested ever since that date and this book doesn't dissapointed. Stunning photography covering significant geological sites in the whole of Africa. Lots of technical detail for the more serious minded but it's the pictures that have me enthralled.......and there's plenty of them. 312 pages of captivating landscapes and geological wonders. Highly recommended.

This book is very detailed and everything that I had hoped it would be. If you are interested in the geology of the African continent and have a reasonable background in geology you will probably enjoy it very much.

Really good and worthwhile.
