Not the same standard size as bumper plates!!!
Beware, if your are using these to train novice lifters these are not the same standard size of a bumper plate, the ones I received are 13 & 3/4” not even close! So disappointed the description is not accurate!!! They are going back!

Perfect for my use
I'm 74 and no longer lift heavy weights. These are perfect for getting a regular olympic or trap bar to the proper height for those sets when I'm not employing 45's. Seem sturdy enough for my needs. my daughter, who also doesn't lift particularly heavy weights uses them and likes them also. Good purchase.

An answer to a question nobody asked
I'm not even sure why 3lb bumpers exist, but they were the only ones available amidst this pandemic so I picked them up. They are a bit smaller in diameter than standard rubber bumpers, and appear to be made of hard plastic rather than rubber or urethane, so I doubt they would stand up to a drop after an Olympic lift. But they are good in a pinch while I wait for more reputable manufacoto restock their bumpers in more standard sizes.

Not “solid rubber”
Falsely advertised as “solid rubber”. They are plastic and feel hollow. They will likely not last very long. I got these for the kids as trainers. Do not buy.

PERFECT for getting the bar up high for deadlifts.
PERFECT for getting the bar up high for deadlifts. I bought a regular set of weights that vary in size and then worked my way up to deadlifts and hip thrusters. I realized my weight would not work because it made the bar too low to the ground. Someone suggested the lightest bumper plates to get the bar off the ground and it worked. I wish I would have bought the full-size plates, to begin with. Bu this was a perfect fix.

Not advertised size
I ordered the 3# for the advertised “standard size” of 17.75” to match 45# weights, but the ones I received were 14” diameter instead. I returned them, there are other vendors that don’t mis-state their products.

Desdlifts!
These let me, a beginner, do deadlifts. With the standard bar being 45 pounds and the lightest weights of this size being 22 pounds, these have helped me bridge the gap. Not likely going to last forever, but perfect for what I needed and worth it.
