Dogtra iQ CliQ Remote Training Collar with Built-in Clicker?

Très bon collier mais le mode emplois serait mieux en français et c est un bouffe pile j'ai jamais vu sa . Et on peux même pas demander quoi que ce soit au vendeur car aucun moyen .....

I thought I was going to like this product especially since it has a built in clicker. I have used Dogtra e-collars for years and have been very happy with them as a professional dog trainer. But, this one is cheaply made. I don't like that the placement of the unit is not moveable on the collar. As it is, the buckle might sit on the side of your dog's neck instead of behind the dog's neck depending on the size your dog is. I am also very disappointed in having to use replaceable batteries instead of rechargeable batteries. It means always buying extras to have on hand since there is no way to know when the batteries on this will wear out. I am also disappointed that it does not have a vibration mode like all the other models have. Don't waste your money. Go for one of the other Dogtra models. They are simply superior.

This item works great for my 10 lb dog however the batteries go dead in just a couple weeks. I have had to replace the batteries at $4-$6 two times already. I expected the batteries to last longer especially since you are not pushing the button all the time for discipline purposes. I would recommend getting a unit that has rechargeable batteries.

The problem with this unit is that the contact points cannot be changed and they did not reach through the fur on my dog's neck to adequately contact the skin. I would have to tighten the collar so tight as to restrict his breathing to make contact and I'm not going to do that to him. I have another Dogtra collar, the NCP 3500, that has changeable tips, and I bought a set of metal contact points about 3/4" long and they work just fine with that collar. But on the iCliq the contact points are NOT changeable. My dog is a German Shepherd Dog and his fur is actually fairly thin for the breed. Also, I didn't like that the remote has no belt clip as I often have to clip the unit to my pants to free up a hand while training. This remote can only be held in the hand on hung on a lanyard.
