Not to be left outside???!!
I bought this neat rain gauge at the end of summer. It has a pretty glow at night. However, after being left out for the winter it has cracked and broken the gauge part. I’ve had several rain gauges and this has never happened. I’ve never had to bring them in for the winter. Not happy about this because to buy the replacement is almost the cost of a new one. I would not recommend this product and I probably won’t replace the gauge. I’ll get one that I know will last through the entire year.

I love it!
The rain gauge is beautiful but the glass measuring tube seems a bit thin and fragile. I also wish the solar light was a bit brighter. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would order again.

Solar Light Never Worked
The solar thing didn’t work initially. However After fiddling with the switch on the back I was able to push the stuck switch over a bit more and then the solar gizmo started working. I think sitting in the hot sun loosened it up so I could push it more. Now after a couple of months it is finally working. I suggest an upgrade to the switch mechanism so others don’t have this problem.

Rain Guage
I enjoy having this range gauge. And I have it in my front yard it looks so nice. However, since I have lights at my front and back door that come on at dusk and go off at dawn, I really didn’t need the solar light since it never comes on.

I like it. Fit my needs.
I do like this. I bought it to set next to my darling dog who passed away. I gave a 4 for accuracy, it shows a bit more rain than my other guage. That being said I honestly don’t know which is accurate. All in all, i am pleased with it.

Stunning
I love this rain gauge. I gave it as a going away gift for a dear friend. She absolutely loved it and said she can hardly wait to put it out in her lawn. It is built very sturdy and the glass gauge is very easy to read....even from a bit of a distance. Thanks for a wonderful product.

Rain gauge with solar light.
It was packed extremely well with bubble wrap. It was difficult to get the wrap off but I understand why they did it to protect the glass ball and glass gauge. There was no instructions with it and initially I didn't notice an on/off switch on the bottom of the solar device.I'm very pleased with the product. And it arrived ahead of schedule.
