what is the function of the metal tab on the top ?

Went out and looked at my freezer. The racks are such that this could hang on them. The tab on top is bent enough to be stable there.

One of the 4 thermometers I purchased does not agree with the other 3, when compared side by side in the same location. Can I get a replacement?

There is a tiny screw that can be turned with a jewelers screwdriver for calibration. It’s in the middle hole in of back.

Can you wash this if it’s not working.

Wash the thermometer? I would guess that would be fine. But I don't think washing it would make it start to work.
