geckobrands Tarpaulin Dry Bag – Waterproof PVC Bag with Carabiner for Secure Storage, for Boating, Kayaking, Camping

I ordered two of these bags for my 10 day canoe trip down the Buffalo River. The bags worked great, no water got inside. We had waves come into the canoe and thunderstorms and everything stayed dry. I love how you can see what is in the bag, with dry bags this is a great convenience and helps you recall how you packed the bag and you can see where the item is that you want.The only problem I had was one carabiner broke. I was using the carabiner to hang the bag from my hammock, not sure if that was the intended use. I contacted customer support and they replied promptly. However, they said the carabiners only came with a bag, not separately. They asked me to take a picture of the bag to send me a replacement entire bag + carabiner. I had already stored the bags and it didn't feel right to ask for a whole bag for just the carabiner. But then 4 days later a package shows up with a carabiner in it. The rep I spoke with was able to find one! Thank you so much for a good product and great customer service! Hard to find these days.

I bought this because I work in the secured area of an airport. We are required to carry our stuff through security in a clear bag. I bought this dry sack to replace my issued backpack. It works exactly as needed. The bag's seams appear to be sturdy. It is a good size for all my daily gear and it is easy to wear at my side or on my back. The D rings and clip are cheap plastic. Otherwise the bag seem well built and adequately serves the purpose for which it was purchased.

We used on an overnight canoe/camping trip and hey worked perfect! We had two (held tent, sleeping bag, clothes, sleeping pads, etc). Our canoe took on water and not a thing got wet.These are the really thick PVC kind and they were wonderful!Shipping was fast and company was great to work with!

I bought the bag so that I could use a solar charger while kayaking and for that the transparent nature of the dry bag works great. However, when I used it as a normal carrying bag and slung the strap across my chest, the strap broke at the top where it only appears to be glued. Overall, the bag has a mediocre quality to it but it should be fine for light use, just don't count on that strap holding.

This 60 liter orange bag is perfect for paddling down the Suwanee River. When it absolutely, positively has to stay dry, to this is the bag. Very sturdy construction with a flat bottom saves space. The shoulder straps made the river to camp trek almost effortless.

The original was damaged with a hole in the bottom when I received it but Geckobrands was willing to send a replacement immediately. I have not been able to test the undamaged product but I put a temporary patch on the damaged one and took it kayaking. It help up pretty well and only had some minor moisture in the bag after getting caught in rough waters and being submerged for a few minutes.

I've had a lot of dry bags, but this one is extra nice because it's well-made, flexible and CLEAR. It's incredibly useful to be able to see the contents without opening the bag.

I freaking love this thing. Large enough to stuff a 5 person tent in and strap to my kayak, large enough for a medium sized daypack backpack with all my gear, and shoes, and a towel, with room left over. Strong material!
