We have tried short journeys in the car with this, and the dog seems comfortable and happy. He has enough room to move around to get settled, and then he slept! Having the one lead meant that we could unclip him, then just get out and walk him without changing leads. Also, the little piece of elastic that holds the seatbelt clip in place when the lead is being used to walk is a very clever idea.This product is definitely worth it.

I ordered this lead based on the other reviews and I wasn’t disappointed, it is really sturdy and well made, I love the additional handle at the base of the lead and have used this to hold him tighter around other dogs as he is so friendly he thinks everyone loves him and I have even been able to hold it for training him to walk at my heel too, the bungee part of it is in a great location and takes the initial shock of an unexpected pull from him as other leads sometimes have it too high up the lead meaning it can be above your hand which is no use at all, I’d absolutely recommend this lead and I’ll be buying another one as a spare for in the car, I haven’t used the seat belt clip as he has a dog guard in my car but it’s good to have the peace of mind that we have this for if he’s ever in someone else’s car. I needed a better lead as I have a 18 week old Springer pup and when going to catch hold of his harness as a small dog was snapping at him my previous lead unclipped itself and he was then running loose beside a road and a snapping dog! I am confident this will not happen with this lead as I can grab the lower handle, this handle also gives you better control of the dog which is much needed sometimes in a situation like that

This is a brilliant dog lead. A couple of things which would make me really recommend this.A) you don’t have to take the lead off the dog to get them clicked into the car. You’ve got it already attached on the lead so you just get them to jump into the car and click into the seat belt. It’s a small thing but makes for less faff.B) the absorbent section is really good and effective. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and we’ve been using this with our 25 kilo dog for a few weeks now and I find it much better than the normal fixed lead we had before.C) you can extend it but on a permanent basis so she can have a bit more length if we’re on a walk in a quiet area but I can still get control by the traffic handle.D) the little ring at the top of the lead is great for anyone who likes us attaches the dog to a tether. We use it with our van when we pull up and make a cup of tea and want her free to move but unable to run off.Great lead, great price and well thought out for those who want to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle with their dog.

I was a little sceptical using our new lead as it looked and felt on the bulky side especially when it has a seat belt attachment. However, there is a loop that keeps it in place. The lead is a decent length with a section that is of a type of elastic. This gives a gentle rebound without the collar being tugged causing no pain or discomfort for my dog. The seatbelt connection is very handy! I don’t travel much with my dog but worked perfectly when we tested it out. Plus I believe it’s actually the law to use one so always on hand if required.

Brilliant lead, I've used a retractable lead for some time now with my staffie and he pulls, if you need to get him back quickly the retractable one is a waste of time, this lead is great, comfy on the hand, just long enough to be at a safe walking distance away from me but the bungee feature allows to to pull him back quickly without hurting your dog, the seat belt buckle built in is a brilliant idea too.

Arrived promptly. First impressions are good strong quality lead. I like the control handle at the bottom and the seatbelt attachment so can use in car. It’s designed more for adult size dogs although I just got a Labrador puppy. He will grow big quick so is ideal. My puppy is still getting used to a lead but doesn’t mind it on although will try to chew it if given the chance lol. So far so good!

A really good sturdy dog lead. The clip is more durable than the average lead, and the material feels very strong. The addition of the grip inside the handle is nice and the seat belt clip is very useful. I don't really feel the benefit of the elastic shock absorber which was one of the key reasons I bought it as I have bad joints but very good despite this.

Superbly quality product! Great if you have the dogs in & out of the car. We would constantly forget their leads after clipping them into the car. Not anymore! This lead does it all. Clips right into the car seat belt. Love the slight stretch that cushions The pull when the dogs get too excited. Would recommend. Would buy again.
